My husband and I rented this house for a month long ski/Sundance adventure. The location is ideal for hitting the Park City slopes, walking to town and very close to the free city bus line. We rarely needed our car. It was also a bonus that they allowed our dog to stay! The 2 bedrooms size was perfect for the two of us and the downstairs bedroom was ideal when we had friends stay one weekend. The property manager Joy is amazing. She was quick to respond to all question and once when there was a problem with the hot tub, the repair man was there moments after hanging up the phone with her. With good customer service so rare these days it was a joy to work with Joy!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway.

We spent 4 terrific weeks in Park City. The house was more than comfortable, well equipped, and conveniently located. We would definitely recommend it and will stay there again. It is close to good hiking trails and downtown. The property manager does a great job!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway.

We stayed in the apartment next door as part of our ski trip to Park City. This is the best location, two blocks from the town lift. Walked to resturants on main street every night. Enjoyed the hot tub everyday after skiiing. It's not fancy but clean and cosy. We will stay here again on future trips. It fit our needs perfectly.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

DREADFUL NIGHTMARE!

DREADFUL HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE.. the worst accommodations ever! Poorly managed property with the stingiest of amenities! We arrived after a long day of travel to a COLD and DARK home (no outside light to illuminate key pad) and NO HEAT! Thermostat showed interior temperature hovered at 40 degrees Farenheit . Property Manager out of town and reachable only by phone. She assured us that the heat would come on once we turned up the thermostat...and suggested that we use the wood stove in the meantime. Unfortunately, there was no kindling provided, nor even a book of matches. My husband tried to use the gas stove to light a log. No luck. The blankets were thin, and there was not even one extra blanket to be found in any closet. We had to put my daughter to sleep under our coats . No rugs in Master Bedroom -a sterile and cold enviroment. Bureau drawer fell off first time I opened (we have a photo of this) Finally, after several hours of this miserable cold (we missed dinner entirely since our #1 priority was getting heat) , we called back the property manager and convinced her that there was indeed NO HEAT. She directed us to a dumpy one bedroom apartment next door that was only slightly warmer; there was heat in the living room but none in the bedroom. No extra blankets either. We pulled all the bedding off the first apt and brought it into the second apt and spent one miserable cold night in hell. The door to the bathroom cabinet fell off the first time I opened it. (we have a photo of it) The following day, we did not ski - the goal of this expensive trip - as we wanted to ensure the heat was taken care of. Property manager sent a furnace repairman next day who confirmed there was a problem with an electrical connection - but he was not able to restore heat.. which we did not learn until many hours later when the place was still stone cold. Property manager sent a housekeeper over to give us a starter log and a few blankets. When I called the manager to say our accommodations were unacceptable she said she would give us a full refund if we wanted to move out. We did! .....but now almost 2 months later, Property Manager still hasn't issued a full credit. I had to call VISA to dispute the charge. RUN from this place!Owner response: It's true that the heater was not working when the guests arrived, however, upon receiving their phone call, I immediately called the repair company and had them come out at 9:00pm (paying the after-hours fees). Not knowing if heat could be restored that night, I moved the family of three to an available one-bedroom condo right next door for the night. Even though the furnace was completely repaired the next day, the tenant just could not be contented. We offered a refund for the first night, then they wanted to stay in the very nice 1-bedroom for the remainder of their stay for a rate that was too low beyond the rate for Christmas week even though the furnace had been repaired in the house that they had contracted for the week. Although they thought the 1-bedroom was below par, they wanted to stay there for cheap while the heater had been restored in the original property they had contracted to rent. I offered them a full refund if they wanted to vacate completely which is what they did after managing to damage a dresser in the master bedroom of the house as well as the bathroom vanity door in the condo. The renter has been refunded on their credit card as promised. Since Christmas week, we have had the house and the condo rented every week in January and now February without any issues or complaints. We chalk up this incident to "you can't please everyone."

It's great to stay here because you never need to deal with parking on Main Street, you can just walk. And, for skiing, you walk 1/2 block to the Town Life run, ski down & get on Town Lift. You can also ski down to the house for lunch, and then head back up the mountain. It's a cute Old Town house with all amenities and comfort, and a big Hot Tub. If you have a car, you have a private driveway & garage to park. In the Summer, you are right by the hiking & biking trails and Main St. is always having events like the big Art Fest & Park Silly Markets. It's the best for Sundance, can't beat the convenience and having parking, wish I could have stayed here for that. I've stayed in this house in the Summer & for Spring Skiing.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
