Beautiful very clean beach house in the historic prestigious golden mile neighborhood of Myrtle Beach's million dollar row. This is not your typical tourist community. You will enjoy living like the locals in a non-congested community with great privacy. The home is surrounded by 100 year old live oaks indigenous to Myrtle Beach.
The home sits on 1.5 acres of land covering the entire block. Surrounded by sun decks on the front and back, the home has a reverse floor plan with primary living area and kitchen on the second floor. A second living area and gaming area on the first floor for the teens and children will allow more for adult time if needed.
Historic doesn't mean old. The home was purchased in 2006 for 1.5 million dollars and had 150 K in upgrades. Everything is less then three years old in the house. Granite countertops stainless appliances, tile bathrooms, hardwood and tile floors all new furnishings.
Have breakfast overlooking the beach in the morning and finish the day with a barbecue on the deck in the salt air. Just a few steps to the beach. you will enjoy a different side of myrtle beach. Minutes from the pavilion, restaurant row and Broadway at the beach.

The house was very large and accomodated all 17 of us. But...the beds were in bad shape (one box spring had blood on it) and we all agreed that the description on VRBO is not accurate of this house, and there were several light bulbs that were out (maintenance came same day as called), 1 bathtub was broke and 1 toilet was broke (maint. fixed it). It had a great location and was large. That is it. This house was in desperate need of TLC, as well as the yard (no grass...weeds). The biggest lie on the website about this house is that there is NO POOL TABLE!!!!!!! We all agreed that we got taken to a degree on this house, but the proximity to the ocean helped us tolerate what we rented.
Owner response:Unfortunately, we did have to remove our pool table for the 2011 season because it was in desperate need of repairs. We are hoping to have a new one installed before the 2012 rental season and we do apologize for the table being unavailable for your stay! We do strive to have accurate descriptions and photos of the home available for all viewiers, so we are making a great effort to update pictures as we update and redecorate the home. As always, we are available 7 days a week to answer and questions and maintenance requests for our guests- from clogged toilets to extra linens. We cannot promise that everything will be in perfect order 100% of the time, but we can promise to strive to ensure your family vacation is a great one!
