In the heart of Surfside Beach, Katy’s Dream (3rd row) is a short walk to the beach, Surfside Pier, restaurants, nightlife, ice cream shops, library, playground, and tennis courts.
Off season we spend as much time at Katy’s Dream as we can. Professionally decorated, and updated this year, we hope our beach house will feel like your home away from home. Whether you want to sit and rock on one of the 3 covered porches, splash in the private pool, or just sit and enjoy watching a big screen LCD HDTV, Katy’s Dream has it all!
Family meals are a breeze in our well equipped kitchen. From a waffle iron to cocktail glasses, you will find everything you need.
One of our favorite activities is sipping coffee and watching the sunrise from the upper level porch.
Our beach house is minutes away from golf, shopping, water parks, miniature golf, and live entertainment. We love the restaurants in nearby Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island, boat tours from historic Georgetown, and day trips to Charleston (90 miles).
Weekly rentals May through August start at 3PM Saturday and check-out is no later than 10AM the following Saturday. The contract signer must be 25 years of age or older and must occupy the property during the rental period.

My family stayed at Katy's Dream for a week in September 2010. As a former condo owner in MB, I can certainly appreciate all aspects of Katy's Dream, including how cooperative the owners are in helping make your stay a "dream". Kathy answered all questions and was prompt in getting back to me concerning the details, contract, returned security deposit, etc. We have a small family, and did not need all the bedrooms (only used three of them), but certainly enjoyed all the space to spread out. Since I love to cook, and always want to have lots of gadgets in my kitchen, I can tell you that this house has it all in the way of kitchen items. The pots and pans and dishes were all clean and in excellent shape. The entire house was very clean and neat. We loved the pool and early morning and late night dips were no problem at this property. Very quiet street, but close to the beach, highway 17 and great little spots to visit such as River City Cafe and Bubba's...you can walk easily to these places. Never got to the pier, or the ice cream shoppe, but again, these places are in walking distance. Tried some new restaurants in Surfside and Murrell's Inlet since we usually stay in North Myrtle (for 20 plus years), so nice to try new spots. We love Market Common and the upscale "Piggly Wiggly". Lots of grocery stores close by that are cheaper, of course, such as Bi-Lo, Food Lion, and Kroger. New Walmart should be open soon. Walks on beach and around the neighborhood were quiet and very safe, and I met some very friendly guests and locals. Enjoyed driving my new 2011 Mustang convertible around the area...beautiful weather, beautiful home, and great beach and outdoor activities, yummy food (loved the local seafood in Murrell's--pick some up and bring to the house and cook in for a wonderful, inexpensive family dinner). You don't want to miss this home! It has it all!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at your beach house. It is extremely spacious with lots of room for our large family. Having TV's in every room was great for the kids. I really liked the large HD flat screen in the family room. My wife was impressed with the kitchen. It had everything she need. She even baked a cake. Having the privite pool was amazing, we took advantage of it. You truely have a wonderful place and it is appropriately called a Dream!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
