  I've traveled all over the Hawaiian Islands and Laura's place is hand's down the most cozy, comfortable, clean, and most pleasant place to stay. I love the location and how easy it is to get around Kailua and the rest of the Island. Lanikai beach is a 5 minute drive away and it's so easy to get into Kailua town. It's really spacious for me and my girlfriend and I've stayed there 3 times. She's got a king size bed, coffee maker, pool, patio and BBQ area. It has everything you need. I absolutely love it.   Oh my I can't say enough good things about Laura's cottage. I've stayed here twice already, also in March and I never want to leave! Her attention to detail is in everything! From the colors, the furniture, the decor. It's a beautiful well maintained spacious cottage right on the water overlooking the Kailua canal and it has a great pool! She has everything you could possibly need to feel at home and for a great vacation, from pool & beach toys to utensils and coffee mugs to enjoy your coffee poolside! :) The cottage truly feels like you are on vacation, it's surrounded by a beautiful garden and shutters everywhere to look out to the water & pool. It's beautiful. Laura has been extremely gracious and welcoming every single time! Great stay! Looking forward to the next one already!

  So far Kailua is our favorite place we've been to in Hawaii. The beaches are amazing. The food is amazing. The town is really cool and not overrun with tourists. Laura's Studio was clean and beautiful and the view was like a matte painting from a movie. The unit had its own entrance and gave us all the privacy we needed. The bed was huge and super comfy. The room was bright and cheery. The shower was awesome. We had a driveway spot for our jeep. Laura is really nice and she was always closeby in case we needed anything. She hooked us up with a sweet discount at a local kayak and paddle board rental shop. It was awesome! We were sad to leave Kailua. We will definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to rent with Laura again!

  We had a wonderful stay at this condo rental. The room was bright and airy and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We liked that it was away from the busy tourist spots. Very private. We had rented a car and did day trips all over the island. Laura was a gracious host :). The beach (Kailua Beach) is the prettiest beach in my opinion on the island. White powder sand and crystal clear water. We would definitely stay here again.

  This was the perfect place to start our stay in Kailua. It was everything that they advertised, only better. We happened to be there during the spring winds and the covered lanai was a wonderful wind break. If I had known that the beach house that we moved to did not have the room outside to get away from the wind I would have loved to stay there for the entire time (even though the sunrises over the beach were breathtaking). Laura was very helpful and accomodating--she even offered to cut our pineapple for us. The four of us (my sister and my two daughters) were very comfortable as the outside area expanded our 'living quarters'. I would definetely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway.

  This property welcomes you home! Very peaceful and relaxing. The spacious room is so private and relaxing. There is a lot of room to unpack and stay awhile. The adjoining covered outside lanai was our favorite spot. Perfect in the early mornings, rain or shine to watch the sunrise and listen to the soft sounds of the islands. The yard and pool are well maintained and gorgeous. The canal is filled with its own magic. Lots of fish, crab, ducks to watch. A fun treat to watch the outrigger canoes or kayaker's paddle by too. We were able to launch the kayak and paddle to Kailua beach! What an adventure in your own back yard. The studio is large and roomy. There is more than ample space to unpack all your luggage. The bed is very comfortable and we slept like babies. The bathroom and shower is very large, clean, and easy to use. There is a coffee pot, fridge and microwave which we used. We never had to cook because everywhere we ate in Kailua served so much that we always brought our leftovers home to eat the next day. Laura is very helpful and provides ample bath towels and toiletries. Lots of beach toys, towels, mats and coolers available to take with you when you go to the beach! Our car was very safe and secure with off street parking. We would definitely stay here again. In fact we are already shopping for next years airline tickets. We will book again at Aloha Kai as soon as we know our travel dates!

  This room in a house on the windward side of Oahu. The room is a part of the house combined with a porch area into a very large space with a spacious bathroom. We appreciated the many beach accessories provided including chairs, boogie boards, coolers, dishes, and beach towels. The trade winds were blowing hard while we were there and was soothing to sleep with all the windows open on three sides of the bed. Laura was helpful and not intrusive. On the downside, the fridge and microwave setup was not really great compared to a kitchenette - especially the lack of a sink except the bathroom. Sound carries to and from the main house so we did not want to make noise and while the large lovely leaning is yours, it is right off the main house kitchen. So there are some limitations on privacy. On the other hand, the entrance is separate and with blinds on leaning door closed can have windows open and no one can see in. Pool is small but enjoyable on a sunny day. She provides a kayak you can take out on the canal behind the house if you we're so inclined. Unfortunately, no life preservers. . I would stay here again, especially if I were going alone. Perfect for a single person. Not a place to focus your vacation around, but good value for the price.

  We spent a week at the property and were pleased with the amenities. The private pool and neatly landscaped back yard were great. Great location to launch your adventures on Oahu and only minutes from the beach. Host was pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  My wife and I were very impressed with the property during our stay. It was absolutely beautiful the pool,canal views,living space and large lanai.Laura and Terry our hosts were very helpful and friendly. The views from the lanai were exceptional especially in the evening watching the sunset between the mountains in the background. The location is within 1-2 miles of the town of Kailua,short drive to the Lanikai beach and approximately 30 minutes driveto Waikiki. If we have a chance to return to Oahu we will definetly would want to stay at this location once again.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  Laura was a wonderful host, it was so easy to communicate with her. The studio is well kept, clean, and in a very convenient location of Kailua. Highly recommended! Thanks very much everything - we had a great time!
