This is our family home of over 50 years. My brother and I were raised in this house. If you are familiar with Encinitas, you already know how charming and unique it is. If you are not familiar with Encinitas, this is your opportunity to give yourself a wonderful experience. This home is located within a 5 minute walk to many BEAUTIFUL beaches, some of the best surfing in So. Calif. This home is only a couple of blocks from downtown Encinitas where you will find sidewalk cafes, boutiques, yoga studios, the beautiful SRF gardens and so much more. They just completed a million dollar library that is a sight to behold, less than two blocks away.
This home is west of the freeway and it sits on a quarter acre of land in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. The yard is very large and very private. It invites you to sit on the patio and sip a cocktail or cup of tea.
A short 30 minute drive south gets you to San Diego with SeaWorld, Zoo and much more. An hour drive north gets you to Orange County with Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and much more.

Owner's Map of Encinitas
We were raised in this house in Encinitas. Encinitas is my favorite place, what a blessing to be raised in such a great little town. I now live in Orange County and my brother still lives in Encinitas. Having lived in Encinitas for over 50 years, we have seen it go through many changes, but it has never lost its charm!

Dear Patty, Thank youfor the welcoming bottle of wine and the plant. The heather is beautiful and brought back memories to mind of Judith's and my trip to Scotland as young women! We have enjoyed our stay at 802 and appreciate all your efforts to make us feel comfortable. We love Encinitas and this quiet neighborhood has been wonderful. With much appreciation, Catherinie & Joel

Dear Joe and Patty, Thanks so much for sharing your warm and wonderful home with us. It was just what we needed and worked perfectly for my 86 year old mother, who feasted on the delicious muffins that greeted us (we enjoyed the wine). The kitchen was a joy and faciliated the family reunion dinner with my sister and her family who live in Carlsbad. The patio and backyard were a special pleasure and the weather cooperated wonderfully and provided a much needed break from snowbound New York. Thanks again. Paul, Peggy and Della

Hi Patty, We are back home in Santa Monica and want to tell you how much we enjoyed your house. We had a wonderful and warm Christmas there! Thanks so much for all the extra touches you added. My daughter especially enjoyed Santa's little elf. A couple of quick things I should tell you: 1) We noticed what seems to be a ground leak near the dining room table. It was constantly wet around the area near the north wall of the house, despite drying it often. Your brother stopped by one day and my Dad pointed it out to him. We didn't notice any roof leaks so I think it must have come from the ground. 2) We brought our Christmas tree down with us (stuffed it into our van for the journey). When we left yesterday, we just set it on the curb. I assumed the city will be picking up trees at some point. That's it. Thanks again- we so enjoyed the house and Encinitas! Happy New Year, George

We're departing after a great week of sun in the sun & sand, as well as a trip to Legoland (which our boys enjoyed)! Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your home - the location was great as was the back porch where we spent much of our time when we weren't enjoying Southern Cal. Thanks & best wishes, Phoenix, AZ

Dear Joe & Patty, What a lovely home you have here! It is so peaceful and quiet. The flowers, wine, water and chips were a warm welcome! Thank you! The yard was perfect for our dog to run around in. Our kids enjoyed "cops & robbers" game behind the trees, bushes & chairs. We had friends over one night and they remarked how they would love to live here-even my mother-in-law! Thank you Joe for assisting us along the wi fi journey too. We know we will be back but stay longer-none of us really want to leave. Thanks again for everything. Tom & Lanette Pleasanton, CA

Thanks! We'll remember your sweet home for many reasons - our granddaughter's Easter, our son's birthday, the great weather, the flowers, the oranges - but probably we'll remember being here most because of the <<EARTHQUAKE>> Your home stood up well! You have the very best iron that I've ever had the pleasure of using. Your chimes - fabulous. The beds comfortable. Thanks again. Karl & Beverly Victoria, B.C. Canada
