Wake up every morning with a spectacular view from your living room with 10’ sliding glass doors that open to your own patio opening right on to the sand. Start your day with a cup of coffee walking on the beach, checking out surf and enjoying the calm mornings with waves crashing and salt air. There is no better way to unwind and enjoy the beach than in your own private retreat. Spend your day laying out, playing volley ball, enjoying the water, or biking on the most beautiful bike path in the world. End your days with a sunset walk on the beach, dining outdoors on the patio and toasting the sun as it sets on another perfect day. It is a lovely relaxing vacation beach retreat.

2 comfortable bedrooms each with queen size beds, luxury linens, ipod-fm clock radios will enhance your comfort. 2 full size bathrooms and a washer/dryer add to the convenience of your stay. There is a full kitchen in addition to the gas barbeque to fully cater to your time on the beach. Indoor and outdoor dining seats 4-6 each.

Playa del Rey is a small Southern California beach town nestled between Marina del Rey and Manhattan Beach. It isn’t a party town – it is just a nice sleepy beach town – with restaurants and local color all within walking distance. A mere 10 minute cab ride from LAX; you don’t even need a car – but you do have 1 off street parking space if you so choose. You are freeway close to all of Los Angeles and Southern California’s many attractions.

  • More than what we expected! extremely clean and conveniently located home away from home. We spent a wonderfully relaxing week at this well maintained property. The owner and all neighbors, especially Bob, were extremely friendly and helpful. Markets and restaurants are all in walking distance no need to rent a car if you don't want to! The views and weateher were unbelieveable. The beach goes on forever and is where we chose to spend most of our days. We are coming back same time next year and hope to be able to stay here again.

  • My family and I were delighted to spend a week at the beach in this terrific beach retreat which was complete with all the necessities of home. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a large bowl of fresh fruit. The owner was very accommodating and hospitable creating an enjoyable stay from the start. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee out on the sand, as we made our plans for the day. There were so many local activities with in a short drive or bike ride- The famed Venice Beach Boardwalk, the Santa Monica Pier, shopping in Manhattan Beach or just staying at home with our feet in the sand and a cold beverage in our hand watching the local sailboat Regatta that happens each week. We had a very enjoyable time and are already making plans to go back. Thank you JoAnn, we can't wait to see you next time!! Terry Guirey

  • This is the most relaxing place that we have ever visited. All the beach and the Pacific ocean are just out your front door. Beach volley ball and a great group of other beach visitors made the stay so enjoyable. Plus there was plenty of parking space and accessibility to good restaurants -- just walking distance away. The place was clean and well-equiped. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.
