This is a very private and fully appointed home perfect for couples, families or golf retreats.
You will experience a beautifully decorated home with the feel of comfort and luxury. The back yard is unique and much larger than most contemporary desert homes. The yard offers excellent privacy views of several golf holes and then out towards miles of undisturbed desert.
We are above and to the side of the tees on the 6th hole so our location is not in the path of flying golf balls. The back yard has a large built in BBQ cooking center, complete with refrigerator and seating for five.
There is a large gas fire pit with lots of seating to view the night skies over the desert. Our guests also enjoy the 30 foot negative edge pool and adjacent hot tub. The wrought iron furniture is perfect for outdoor lounging and dinning.
The master bedroom has a 4 poster deluxe king size bed with a very unique pop up flat screen TV and a large built in work desk overlooking the back yard and pool.
The guest wing has two additional bedrooms. The first has a king size bed and its own TV while the second guest room has a queen size bed. They share a well planned continental bathroom arrangement with two completely separate sink and mirror vanity rooms and a shared bath and shower room.
The gourmet kitchen has granite tile countertops and a huge central island which sports seating for four. Generous countertop space is perfect for meal preparation and entertaining .
The kitchen is actually a great room concept which is open one side to and informal dining area and a built in office arrangement.
The other side of the kitchen opens to the large family room with a gas fireplace, state of the art, 46 inch flat screen HD TV with a Blue Ray DVD player, built in surround sound and a selection of DVDs and music CD's provided for your enjoyment. A massive floor to ceiling view window overlooks the pool.
There is a lovely den and library featuring hundreds of books. Enjoy the overstuffed reading chair or sit down at the custom built chess table with a friend.
The home has a large garage with one of the three spaces taken up by a "Tough Stuff" gym, treadmill and recumbent bike. An out door ping pong table is available too.
The home is situated in the very quite gated community of Eagle Mountain which in turn is located in the southern foot hills of the McDowell Mountains and immediately adjacent to North Scottsdale.
The location enjoys the best of two worlds...The local community of Fountain Hills offers a more relaxed small town feel while the newest areas of shopping and dining in exciting North Scottsdale are just a 15-20 minute drive in the other direction.

We built this home in 1998 for lifestyle reasons. We are a very active family and Arizona offers every kind of outdoor sport imaginable, including water skiing on a huge lake just 30 minutes from our home! Except for the hot summers, the weather is unparalleled for participating in outdoor activities.

The Unique Benefits of this House
The homes and golf course at Eagle Mountain back up to a vast natural desert area owned by the Salt River Native American community and the McDowell Mountain range. With the exception of a few neighboring homes, the view to the south from our back yard takes in miles of natural Sonoran Desert. The quiet peacefulness of this area is one of its primary benefits. The Sonoran Desert is perhaps mis-named since it is teeming with flowering plants and wildlife and is easily the most beautiful of all the desert regions in the United States.
The Eagle Mt Golf Course is one of the few courses in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area with naturally varied, and gently rolling topography since it is situated at the southern end of the McDowell Mountains.
