** Boca Chica is the most popular amongst Dominican beaches. Moreover, it is the closest to Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic, only a 25 minutes drive to the east, past Las Américas International Airport.
The beach is sheltered by a huge coral reef and the bluish green color of the ocean extends over one kilometre. When the sea level lowers during the ebb tide, you can even reach the islet of La Matica on foot.
Coral reefs ensure the sea remains calm and shallow enough off the beach that guests can play water volleyball 8 meters (20 yards) from shore. Along the white-sand beach, thatched roof palapas offer shade. The resort has two sections, the Beach and Garden. The Beach Section pool is medium-sized, with a children's pool adjacent. The Garden Section pool is a large, freeform attraction with a swim-up bar; it includes a 20-person, cool-water spa tub raised above one end.
Insider tip: Located near the shops and the casino, the spacious, open-air Baccarat Bar is a tranquil spot for savoring starlit nights near the beach. It offers cushioned seating for comfortable conversations.

On-site sports and workout facilities include a fitness center with cardio and weight equipment, supervised by a trained attendant; three tennis courts for day and night play; an outdoor jogging track winding through the resort grounds; a nine-hole miniature golf course; three swimming pools, including a shallow pool for children; and water sports such as boogie boarding, sailing, windsurfing, paddle boating, and kayaking.
For surcharges, guests can enjoy motorized water sports on site, including: Jet skiing, water skiing, banana boats, and parasailing. An on-site dive center can arrange fishing, snorkeling excursions, and scuba diving courses, certification, and trips (surcharges for all).
Metro Country Club, an 18-hole course, is located 30 km (19 miles) from the resort. The hotel provides information for guests requiring tee time through Oasis Plus Concierge. Guest must pay for green fees, transportation, and equipment rental.

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
In Boca Chica, we enjoy the best of both worlds. We can sit on the beach and enjoy a quiet afternoon reading and tanning under the bright sunshine. There is so much to see, from people watching, to parasailing to jet skiing. If we get too hot -we simply take a dive into the MOST PERFECT blue green water for an afternoon cool down. At night, have can have a delicious meal at one of the 5 restaurants on site or enjoy our alone time for a quiet candlelight dinner on the beach or maybe hit the mini club for some delicious cocktails and dancing.

In reference to My vacation to the Oasis Hamaca Resort in Boca Chica: Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful time. There were 5 all inclusive restaurants included, open bar on the beach and an open bar in the hotel lobby. The only words I heard from her was I'm hungry !! The suite overlooking the ocean was fantastic, and had an amazing terrace( about 300 ft. The restuarant on the beach served drinks and beer almost 24 hrs a day also fresch pizza was made on the beach. I recommend this resort for couples and and family vacations. I good time was had by all. Omar Jackson
