Enjoy the serenity and beauty of Wrightsville Beach, a 4 mile long island near the historic town of Wilmington, NC. It is generally devoid of high-rise buildings, and consists mainly of single-family homes, small condominium developments, and a small commercial district. It has a unique blend of quiet beaches with cultural activities a short drive away.
The townhouse has been recently updated with tile bathrooms and granite counter tops. The master bedroom has a king bed and a sitting area. There is a small porch on which you can stand and see the beach. The other bedroom upstairs has a double and twin bed. The downstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has its own bath. The living room has a sitting area looking at a gas fireplace and the dunes, and a dining area with a table that will seat 6. The kitchen is fully stocked. The porch off the living room has several chairs for overlooking the dunes and ocean. Beach access is 25 steps from the carport, and the views from the living area and master bedroom are incredible. There is ample parking for 3 cars. Wi-fi available.
You will love playing and walking on the beach, swimming, surfing, shelling, fishing from the surf or one of the two piers on the island, biking, or running or walking 'the loop', a popular 3 mile journey around Harbor Island which separates Wrightsville Beach from the mainland. Tennis courts and a wonderful park for kids are nearby. Kayaks and motor boats can be rented on the beach or Harbor Island.
Numerous restaurants are either within walking distance or a short drive back to the mainland. Upscale shopping is available at Lumina Station or Mayfaire, only a 5-10 minute drive away. The historic district of Wilmington is only 15 minutes away. Downtown Wilmington is thriving with shopping, restaurants, bars, historical tours, and tours of the famous USS North Carolina battleship. The North Aquarium is 20 minute drive and history buffs will enjoy tours of nearby Fort Fisher and other Revolutionary War and Civil War sites.
