Why the Owner Chose Black Mountain
Google Maps does not have our street yet, so this is just very close. We had looked at property all over the NC mountains for over 15 years. When we found this lot, we fell in love with it. Gateway Mountain is like living in a National Park, yet you are only 11 minutes off the interstate and the great shops of Black Mountain are less than 20 minutes away. Asheville is only a short 30 minute ride.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Everyone who sees our view is just stunned the first time, it is panoramic! We have king sized beds in 3 bedrooms and a bunkroom for the kids. The house has no sheetrock, paint or carpet, its all wood, stone, slate, and granite with high end appointments. The recreation room has all kinds of entertainment, but the best part is just the clean air and tranquility that will overcome you. There is nothing better than waking up each morning to look out the windows and see the ever changing panoramic view of the mountain landscape.

We stayed here with 3 couples and a toddler in total and had an excellent time. House was beautiful and really well equipped, with plenty of room when we all wanted to be together and large enough to have our own space when necessary. The grown up boys had great fun in the downstairs rec room with its own bar! - couldn't say a bad word about it at all

The house is beautiful and great for large group with married couples. Gameroom was great for the kids. Only problem is that there is not enough sheets,pillowcases for beds.We had 14 people in our group which is what the house is listed to handle and we did not have enough towels. Other than that small problem would highly recommend this house to anyone.

The house was beyond belief. The views were spectacular. It was like we were right next to Heaven. We have never enjoyed a Vacation facility that comes close to comparing to this House. It has everything you would possibility need or want.Staying there made for an unforgetable vacation experience.
