Looking for a private retreat in the mountains with a breathtaking view then, "Mountain Top Retreat" is for you. The Chalet is located 5 minutes from the downtown area of Franklin and is also located on Hwy 64 that leads to Highlands. This 3 story home has a large open kitchen, separate dining room, living room, sun room and bedroom with a queen size bed, full bath, a large deck complete with a gas grill, porch swing and plenty of seating, all on the main level.
Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with a king size bed, private bath and a balcony for two. The third bedroom is located on the lower level with a queen size bed, full bath, complete laundry room and an oversized rollaway bed for an extra family member.
Franklin is a friendly city with great shopping, good food and live music in the town square on Saturday night, free to the public. Spend the day trout fishing, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, white water rafting, gem mining, golfing or just sit back and read a book, watch the hummingbirds and enjoy the fresh mountain air and lush green surroundings!!
It's an easy drive to Asheville, Highlands, Maggie Valley, Dillsboro and Cashiers. There is also the Cherokee Indian Reservation for Las Vegas style gambling, antiquing in Waynesville, or take a day trip to the Great Smoky National Park, Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
