Our family reunion of 14 people truly enjoyed Summer Breeze. Comfortably accommodated all of us. Clean & nicely furnished. Outside porches & observation deck so nice to enjoy in the evenings. Kids loved the pool & all the games provided. Never heard "I'm bored" all week!! All the equipment for the beach & beach carts were a real bonus. We enjoyed the large diningroom table where we were able to sit as a family & enjoy our meals & conversation. Janet & Rich are great hosts. We hope to return in the future.

This is by far the best vacation home I have ever stayed in on the OBX. Having vacationed there for almost 20 yrs, this is the best value for such a gorgeous home. The location on the 3rd tee is remote, peaceful, and private. The home is clean, well-maintained, and so stocked with amenities that it is like a home away from home (and more!). Janet and Rich are so caring and thoughtful towards their renters, they treated us like part of their family. Our favorite activity was relaxing and enjoying big meals with the family and not having to leave or feel pressure to go anywhere because the home HAS IT ALL. The pool and hot tub are a great plus to the beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, games, children's activities, TVs in every room, foosball, etc. We surely did not want to leave at the end of the week; wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this beautiful home and its lovely owners to everybody I know.

Best Home in OBX for the View and the Owners

My family and I stayed here from 8/29/10 to 9/05/10 and we found the experience to be "breathtaking." We had the two greatest hosts I have ever experienced in Janet and Rich, who took care of our every need. And I am comparing them and their home to having come to the Outer Banks for the last 8 years. Summer Breeze has a wonderful pool and Hot Tub, and one of the greatest views of the Ocean and the Sound from their upper deck. Also, you can spend hours up there picking out the many constellations in the stars. The other amazing detail is how much is provided already at this home... they already provide all the linens and towels. There are bikes to ride on, and there are beach chairs and boards for riding the waves already provided. There is a wonderful grill for cooking your own dinners and all the utensils provided. I think this home is ideal for many types of get-togethers. It is great for families; and it is great for older family getting together too. Actually, it is pretty much great for anyone who is looking for a top-of-the-line great rental home on the Outer Banks. But, what I really love about Janet and Rich, is that they are "real people" who love their home, but who do not "run their rates up" beyond what families can afford. If you are looking for a very wonderful Outer Banks experience at affordable rates.... we strongly recommend the Summer Breeze. My family is already clamoring to go back there again. There is no better home on the Outer Banks anywhere!

We loved the house..we loved the big table. It was nice to actually all get to eat at the same table. All the beach toys, chairs and umbrellas were awesome to have. It is nice to have our own pool, none of us have ever stayed anywhere with our own pool. We loved the house and the area and would recommend to anyone. Thank you very much.

We had an amazing vacation. Your house is awesome, we hate to leave. The kids loved everything. The adults enjoyed the hot tub. The house couldn't have been more perfect. It gave everyone their own private room and even though we all had different schedules, we didn't interfere with one another. We are looking forward to coming back again......

We enjoyed playing volleyball on the beach and in the pool., gathering around the table for meals (which we took turns preparing), watching a storm from the top deck, playing games and sharades in the living room and catching up with each other. We are hoping to make this reunion an annual event and your house is the perfect setting for fun and relaxation. Thank you for sharing it with us....we loved watching the pelicans & the crabs were cool , too. The beach is beautiful both day and night...........

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our family. The sunsets from the top deck to the ocean views from the front deck...the experience was amazing in everyway. A week at Summer Breeze and we are all feeling fine. The only hard part of this vacation is packing up and going back to Canada. Your home was absolutely everything and more for our spring break vacation. We appreciated your attentive service and hospitable accomodations. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool often without care that it was 50 degrees outside. While it did warm up considerably, we felt entirely relaxed here and look forward to many return trips, gratefully and sincerely......................
