Sunnyside Up is a true owner-managed beach rental with no extra fees. Luxurious town home, tastefully furnished with great ocean views. Comfortably accommodates 2 families with children. Sleeps 9 adults, just 60 yards from the surf. Located in the exclusive "Summer Winds” complex, Sunnyside Up has everything you'll need for your Island Vacation. Pool, Beach toys, beach chairs, two bikes, boogie boards, foosball table, Sony Playstation, wide screen flat panel LCD TV plus 2 other TVs, DVD Player, and wireless internet access, are at the disposal of the guests.
Arriving at "Sunny Side Up", you will find covered parking for 2 vehicles under the unit and an outdoor hot/cold shower to rinse off after a long day at the beach. You can watch your kids in the pool from your balcony.
The first floor of Sunnyside Up features a downstairs entrance lounge with TV/Play Station 2 for the kids to enjoy, and a full sized futon/couch. There are 2 master bedroom suites flanking the lounge area. A sliding glass door takes you to the outdoor deck with ocean view. The ocean front bedroom has a king size bed and its own private bath/shower. An open window at night will bring in the sound of the pounding surf. The "soundside" bedroom has 2 twin beds as well as its own private bath/shower.
Continuing upstairs brings you past the laundry area at the landing with a washer/dryer, then up to second floor to the kitchen, dining and living room area. The kitchen comes with all new stainless appliances, granite countertops and solid maple cabinets. There is a gorgeous ocean view from the windows in the kitchen and living room. We have a large dining area set off the kitchen as well with an open floor plan continuing into the living room with cathedral ceilings. Large windows with transoms take full advantage of the ocean views from the living room, and there is access to our oceanfront deck off the living room.
Also on the second floor is yet another master suite with a queen size bed and private bath/shower with a jet tub.
On the landing to the 3rd floor is a small half bath. On the 3rd floor/loft, there is a Double/twin bunk bed, another great an ocean view to the front, and sound view to the rear, and a Foosball table for the family to enjoy.
A great property to enjoy a getaway with family or friends, "Sunny Side Up" is sure to satisfy. Don't forget, this is a Pet Friendly Home, so there's no need to leave those 4-legged family members behind. Across the side street is a very convenient public playground with swings and other children’s attractions. Across the front street is a well stocked convenience store. What an amazing place to stay and a fantastic location! We were able to cook dinner with a view of the ocean every evening. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was like I had packed up my kitchen and brought it to the beach! Everything was clean, updated and decorated beautifully. No need to bring beach chairs or boogie boards. This house has them. And if you have children, there are plenty of beach toys for them to use. The owner was extremely nice and made sure we were comfortable and happy with our accommodations. We'd recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable vacation!!! Hope to be back soon!

The townhouse was found to be as described and shown in the pictures. The children enjoyed the games provided in the home as well as the playground across the street. It is conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and major grocery chains. It is a short walk across the street to the beach. The home also faces low traffic areas perfect for walking or bike riding. This home was perfect for our two families and we look forward to coming back soon. The only drawback would be if you have problems with stairs, this complex may not be suitable for you.

My family stayed in this beautiful townhouse June12-19 2010. We loved the place it had eveything we needed and more. The beach and weather were just perfect. Thank You Jim the owner for everything what a great place too come with your family.

We recently stayed at this beautiful condo in Surf City awaiting the arrival of my Marine Corps son from Afghanistan. It was a great place top sit, relax and enjoy the ocean while waiting for our final arrival news. The townhouse was decorated nicely and so spacious for all of to enjoy. The area was kept up so nicely outside and inside. Our group was small but this would be a fantastic place to stay with a large family or two families, I would highly recommend it for a family vacation. There is plenty of space for everyone. It was great sitting on the deck and enjoying the sounds and view of the ocean, very relaxing! Jim, the owner, was great to deal with in working out the details of our trip and flexible at this time of the year not knowing the exact dates during the week that we would need. I would highly recommend this place and it makes it so much easier dealing with the owner instead of a rental company! Most of all the rates are reasonable for being at the beach. We will definitely go back here again if the opportunity arises.

We spent a wonderful family Easter at this townhome. Everyone had a great vacation, including our dog. Exceptional weather, perfect location for all of us as both of our children are in college down in North Carolina, dog friendly beach and clean and comfortable accommodations. After one night it felt like home and the owner was terrific to deal with. Extremely responsive right from our first contact with him. Couldn't ask for more. Hoping to do a 'replay' next year. Just LOVE that beach!
