Just a short walk away is the scenic 18 hole Robert Trent Jones II golf course that is rated one of the top golf courses in America and rated the "Best Mountain Golf Course" in Colorado by Mountain Golf Magazine. Golf at 9,280 ft where the ball flies 12% farther!! Also available to the public at the club are year-round tennis courts, a full-service spa, and casual to formal dining. Access to a private stocked fishing lake is just up the road from the condo. Enjoy a peaceful picnic or canoe over to your favorite fishing spot (owner's canoe is stored at the lake for your enjoyment)!!
Only 5 minutes from the town of Crested Butte and 10 minutes from Mount Crested Butte's fabulous ski-area there is no shortage of things to do no matter the season! Along with some of the best mountain biking trails in the world, there is also a convenient bike trail that leads to town where everyone enjoys its historical charm, specialty shops, gourmet dining and local art galleries. A free shuttle runs every 15 minutes from Crested Butte to Mt Crested Butte for both summer and winter convenience. The main lift is open in the summer to take sightseers and hard core bikers (and their bikes) alike to the peak. This shuttle is especially convenient in the winter where skiers can be dropped off directly at the base of the mountain to enjoy some of the most exciting ski terrain in the country!
My entire family and I do go to CB quite often to enjoy the four seasons so I do need to know asap when you are interested in staying in our part of paradise.
Located near the center of Colorado, and once dubbed the "great unknown", Crested Butte is off the beaten path yet accessible from everywhere. Crested Butte is approximately 30 minutes from the Gunnison Airport, 90 minutes from Montrose, 3 hours from Colorado Springs, and 4 hours from Denver. The Black Canyon of the Gunnison is approximately 90 minutes away.
Gunnison Airport is serviced by United, United Express and American. Car rentals available at Gunnison Airport from Avis, Hertz and Budget. Shuttle Bus service from Gunnison to Crested Butte is provided by Alpine Express.

My name is Ann Johnson and this is a picture of my beautiful family enjoying a sunny Christmas Day in Crested Butte (minus one new grandson)! We have been enjoying the "Edge of Paradise" for over 35 years together and I had the privilege of living in Crested Butte full time for almost 20 of those years. It is the most special place in the world to our family, celebrating many amazing moments there together. We have owned this golf villa since 1996. We are the original owner/occupier and take pride in the way we have maintained it. For health reasons and to be closer to my family I moved to the Denver area in the Fall of 2008. Our desire, through offering this property as a rental, is to allow others to enjoy the mountains and the vast variety of things to do in Crested Butte as well as the ability to escape their normal pace of life and experience the peace and serenity that can only come from time in Crested Butte! We have priced the condo right for these economic times when its more important than ever to take care of your soul and let go! God bless!!! Annie
