There are jaw dropping views of 3 mountain ranges from the completely renovated classic 1914 Montana farm house.
Situated at the edge of a bluff overlooking meandering Cottonwood Creek, this 3 bedroom 3 bath 3500 sq. ft. home is what Montana is all about.
Eclectically furnished with a mix of family antiques and modern comfortable furniture the house includes a spectacular great room with soaring stone fireplace and windows galore, formal living room, fantastic master suite and large guest room suite upstairs and another large guest room with attached bath on the main floor.
There is a covered wrap around porch with cane rocking chairs on the front of the house and a large deck for BBQ etc on the back. The wonderful 100 year old red barn is a vintage Montana landmark.
Offering privacy yet easy access to activities and amenities. The little ranching community of Clyde Park is 5 minutes from the house and has a great family owned grocery store with an old fashion meat market, bar, cafe and gas station.
The charming western town of Livingston is 20 minutes from the house and offers fantastic restaurants and wonderful art galleries. The large college town of Bozeman is 45 minutes away and has airport and shopping.
The house is 20 minutes from the famous Yellowstone river and 80 miles from Yellowstone National Park. This house is in the middle of some of the best hiking and fishing our state has to offer, or just sit back listen to the sounds of Cottonwood creek and enjoy the view. $225/night with 3 night minimum or $1300.00/week. $300 damage deposit.

Why the Owner Chose Livingston
I had the occasion to visit friends nearby, about 12 years ago. I was taken by the incredible skies, of course, the down-to-earth people and all the things to do that are uniquely American, yet few Americans ever see or do them.. To visit Yellowstone Park, is one of the awesome experiences you can have. And the town of Livingston is a living reminder of who we were when the railway system opened up the west. It's also a great place to look at fabulous contemporary art, cowboy artifacts, and enjoy a truly cosmopolitan meal while wearing bluejeans!
The Unique Benefits of this House
The house is on 20 acres, but when you are there, the views are 360, and you feel like you own the whole county. The barn is so old and visible, local people actually know it as a landmark. I would say it is the best of both worlds--private, but not at all remote, convenient to the grocery store, and not far from a working ranch or a rodeo in progress. Add to that, Sandy and Sean, the ever-at-the-ready property managers, and you have no cares once you're there. If you only sat on the porch, the sound of nothing and the sense of place will most likely stay with you a very long time
