My family has rented quite a few homes and a few condos over the years for various vacations, obviously some are better than others. I typically feel the need to clean most all of them upon arrival so that they live up to our standards at home. That was NOT the case here! The unit was immaculate and inviting! We felt completely at home and my vacation started from the moment we walked in the door. Our kids loved the pool and being steps away from the beach was amazing. We will be returning in the future!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We are on the way home after a fantastic, relaxing week at your beautiful condo. It was our first trip to Orange Beach, and we absolutely loved it! Your condo certainly felt like home, and the view is perfect! We spent most of the week just relaxing on the beach or at the pool, but when we did go out, your suggestions were so right! Highlights: Walking the beach and sinking into the peaceful sound of the waves. The condo was very comfortable and the view was exceptional. We'll be back. If one stands in the kitchen and looks out the sliding glass doors, it appears the waves are rolling directly into the condo as none of the beach is showing. Amazing what one sees when you have the time to kick back.

We did it all - crab hunting, shrimp festival, golfing, Tanger outlets. Finding the perfect shells. Seeing love of the ocean in the eyes of our children. Great! Hope to be back soon.

A very nicely appointed condo with beautiful views and instant beach access. The kitchen has all the amenities of home! The mattresses on the beds were older and needed a bit more cushion for comfort.

Owner response:Thanks for the comments. We followed up on this, and as a result, we replaced one mattress set immediately. The others are new. It's hard to satisfy everyone's taste for mattresses (firm, soft, medium, etc.) as that is a personal preference.

Just wanted to let you know we thoroughly enjoyed the condo in Orange Beach last week. What spectacular views! We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the great weather and views. The condo was really great and exactly what we were looking for. We really did not want to come back home! Our boys had a wonderful time!I have to say this may have been the best condo we’ve stayed in at the beach in all the years we’ve been going. So convenient, spacious, comfortable….and the views really made the trip for us! We are planning to come back to Orange Beach probably around the same time next year. We mostly enjoyed the beach. We took long family walks with our three children. We liked Tacky Jack's and the Peninsula Golf Club. The weather was perfect, sunny and 74 all week.

We got together with close relatives staying here. It was cold when we arrived, but it only got better. We visited, relaxed, strolled along the beach, ate well, and read books. Friday the "men" went deep sea fishing and provided the "fish fry" dinner with deep fried sweet potato chips. Chris cleaning our fishwas a character. Among the highlights were playing with my nephew's 3 year-old daughter and pulling in over 20 fish - mostly snappers.

We stayed in your condo the last of June of this year. It was beautiful. We loved being in the corner unit. The view was incredible. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The only bad thing about the whole trip is that the grills are in the hot sun and they need to be shaded by a gazebo or some other type of structure. Other then that, it was a perfect vacation, and I would return to this same unit again. Thank You, The Walkers June 2007

This is our second stay in this gorgeous spot, but we missed a couple of years. As soon as we turned off Hwy 59 and saw the beachin Gulf Shores, we were all so excited again to have a week in paradise. So much has changed, we're happy to see Emerald Key is preserved beautifully, and your condo is prettier than before. I cooked every day, at least one meal, and there wasn't anything I needed that wasn't already here, even the crock pot! The weather was unusually cold early in the week, so much for pacing ourselves. We were all burned to a crisp (almost) on Thursday - our first warm and sunny day. Friday was another beauty. We saw dolphins many times. The sunrises certain days were worth getting up for! Will miss Orange Beach terribly til we can come again. Thank you, The Dickmans P.S. We live outside a beach community on Lake Huron in MI and we'd love to share our home or offer infoif you ever get our way! Just call or write anytime.

We had a terrific week of decompressing which we truly needed. The Shrimp Festival was fabulous - as always. Your condo is beautiful. We would love to come back next year! What a wonderful location and the smaller sized building was just what we needed - we were trying to get out of the rat race and this was just what the doctor ordered! We had 7 people and the condo more than accomodated us- no one had to sleep on the floor or sofa! We usually try to stay on a lower floor - but liked being able to see out to sea! The dolphin cruise was great! They jumped and flipped and actually chased the boat- which the children thought was "the most!" We also toured Fort Morgan- which I highly recommend to anyone interested in history. As you can see, we were quite busy, but we truly enjoyed "coming home". From their 7-year old... We had a lot of fun at Orange Beach with our friends. We are so happy to be in this condo. We really enjoyed this beach trip with our friends! We went to Fort Morgan. We went to the Shrimp Festival.

We had a great week. My family spent the entire week on the beach and the weather was great. You have a very nice place here. It was an awesome. We had absolutely perfect weather! The condo is much nicer than the pictures. The beach view with the nearly full moon is incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed the dolphin cruise on the "cold mil fleet". The way the dolphins jumped and played was breathtaking. Also loved the food at the Giggling Grouper. This is our 4th year in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. We will return as this is our favorite spot.

Thank you for the beautiful condo that your family shared with our family. My husband and I have been coming to the Gulf for 11 years. Before that, he and his family have been coming for more than 20 years. We have started a wonderful tradition and wads of memories with our children. This year, my Mother and Father had the opportunity to share Gulf Shores with us and make wonderful memories of Orange Beach! This was the first time my mother had ever been to or seen the ocean. You condo/balcony was perfect for the first time experience. We did see dolphins Friday-the day before we left. My dad said this was the perfect way to end a perfect vacation. Anyway, we have stayed in many condos in the Gulf Shores area and your definitely made us feel comfortable and right at home. We loved the colors on the walls and the boys loved the bunk beds. My daughter, Ella, started walking this week- what a great memory for her. We would and will recommend your condo to our family and friends. We have several thawt come to the Gulf Shores area every year. One of the best things about Emerald Key is the small number of units! Your neighbors one floor above us were very nice. Thank you.

We have enjoyed our week at the beach. This is our 2nd stay in your condo and we enjoyed it again. We ate, shopped, and swam / tanned all week. This is our grandson's 2nd visit to the beach and he had a wonderful time. Parker enjoyed watching the birds, boats, and planes. The Gulf water was calm and clear - good for swimming and watching fish in the water. Our stay was special because it brings our summer to an end. Our whole family was to visit the beach with us but due to conflicts, it was just Myra and I and our daughter, Kelli and her son, Parker. We hope to visit again in the future!

We wanted to say your place is a home away from home. Even though the weather has not been that great, we've truly enjoyed our stay. Tropical Storm Bonnie is approaching and we are praying she will move another direction. We have endured a hard year due to our 3 year old fighting cancer. This was a much needed vacation and we are able to spend quality time with our dear friends. All the boys have enjoyed sharing the room together and the little one loved the beach.
