My family was looking for a fishing/family vacation spot and we found it in the Cozy Cove Cabin. This cabin was gorgeous, clean, and had everything we were looking for. The brand new covered boat dock was a great addition and the gazebo had to rank up there as the best extra we could have asked for. With 2 grandkids ages 4 and 1, it was a playhouse for them. The gate locked so we did not have to worry about them getting to the lake. We put a small blow-up pool in it, tons of toys and let them have fun for hours each day. This cabin had just a short walk to the lake and every morning was spent on the deck, overlooking the lake, drinking coffee and relaxing. The evenings were spent playing pool and ping-pong. Then right before bed, we hit the hot tub and soothed all of our sore muscles we got from tubing out on the lake. We had a 1 year old all the way up to my 80 year old parents and all had a wonderful time. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were a nice drive away and we had a great time in both places as well as visiting the Smokey Mountains while we were there. Arnold and Jane were top notch as our host. They were always a phone call away if we needed something and they answered all of our questions leading up to and during our stay. We will be back as we all talked about going back to the Cozy Cove next year for our vacation. Thanks again Arnold and Jane for a great week!!!

Family Vacation at Cozy Cove

The home was amazing -- even better than the photos. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our family rented both Cozy Cove and Cozy Hideaway for our 50th Wedding Anniversay and family reunion. We had our children and their families with 7 grandchildren (6 of them teenagers) and they loved the downstairs room with ping pong tournaments and also the pool table. The husbands loved it too! We never went out to eat the whole week. The lake was too beautiful to leave and we enjoyed taking turns cooking in the beautiful kitchen. We rented a 90 HP pontoon for five days from Lighthouse Pointe Marina and were able to keep it overnight and dock it in front of the house. The kids loved tubing every day. The cove is deep enough to fish, swim and also dock the boat, and the gazebo was wonderful for family time. It was nice to be right on the lake and not have any stairs down to the water. The house had a nice gentle slope to the gazebo and the dock. We are hoping to make it an annual vacation with our family and grandkids. The Maynards had an ample supply of games and family movies to watch if you have a rainy day or can find time to stay inside. Jane Maynard was very nice to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. I would recommend the Cozy Cove and Cozy Hideway to anyone wanting a beautiful home for your vacation. It was nice having the home located on a cove and not in a group of houses or condos.

This home is simply beautiful, the photos didn't do it justice. We had plenty of room, the home was very clean and well maintained, we had plenty of towels, and we really enjoyed the game room. The dock had plenty of room to tie up our four water crafts. The lake water was crystal clear and wonderful for swimming. My only suggestion would be to add a swim ladder. We ventured into Sevierville once to shop at the outlet mall and grab dinner, great area. We will definitely rent this home again, we loved it!

Just got back from spending 6 days 5 nights at Cozy Cove. I loved it, so peaceful. It was relaxing sitting on the deck listening to the nighttime sounds. The men had really good luck fishing, and they loved the pool table. The beds slept wonderful. Cooking in the kitchen felt like home. It was just 15 minutes to the Exxon station, and Family Dollar (which was like a mini Walmart) just 20 minutes away. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

We had a family group of 8 adults, 2 teens and 4 grade school age children. The house worked very well for us. The youngsters were up fishing and swimming early with the dock a short distance from the door. The ping pong table was enjoyed by the men in our group. It is a distance from the store, about 17 miles or 30 minutes to the Krogers in Sevierville and no restaurants close either, so stop at the store before you head to the lake. Pigeon Forge was 40 minutes away and an option when it was too cool on the lake one day! We took our jet ski and rented a pontoon boat and had great fun! Property clean, well-maintained and excellent customer satisfaction. Would recommend to anyone interested in a lake environment with other recreation opportunities close-by!
