Welcome to our unique historic waterfront home on Orcas Island, the most treasured of the San Juan Islands. This period farmhouse and its setting embodies the island’s natural beauty and laidback rustic charm. We strive to provide a peaceful visit to one of the northwest’s most beautiful settings. The property is tucked away in a private cove that faces the San Juan’s highest peaks, Mount Constitution and is adjacent to the Lummi Nation’s Madrona Point Reserve. The property is a 5 minute walk from Eastsound’s shops, markets, restaurants, bars, bike and kayak rentals, and entertainment. We invite you to experience this home’s tranquil setting, an expansive lawn dotted with fruit trees, private beaches, and breathtaking views of Moran State Park’s Mount Constitution.

The Madrona House features spectacular southeast facing views of the bay and Mount Constitution, a partially covered wrap around porch, a large living room with a wood burning fireplace, a beautiful outdoor dining area, a balcony and king bed in the master bedroom, an outdoor hot tub, and a sloped lawn leading to the private beaches. Just feet from serene beaches and minutes from downtown Eastsound, this is one of Orcas Island’s most treasured spots.

Spend the day beach combing, digging clams, sampling the local specialties at Saturday’s Farmers Market, and kayaking around the bay. The partially covered porch provides a beautiful setting to enjoy outdoor meals, barbeque, and take in the sun. Fantastic Getaway Home

A great place to stay! You couldn’t ask for a better rental, located steps away from the beach and conveniently walking distance to center of town. The layout of the house is wonderful – plenty of bedrooms and spacious common areas. The views from the wrap-around porch are stunning. I would definitely stay again and recommend this to everyone visiting Orcas!

This was one of the best vacations we've had. The house is great, rustic but comfortable. Access to Eastsound so handy and the beach entertained the kids for days. Noone wanted to leave.

We have rented many houses in the area but never before found one so charming, homey ,private and convenient. We loved having our own beach and being able to walk to town.THe house is not fancy but very comfortable and family friendly. We hope it's available next year.
