Our top floor unit at Gulf Place is updated with new paint and décor. Bedrooms have all new linens and comforters; the kitchen is fully equipped with every kind of stemware and food preparation utensil.
A new 32” flat screen TV and DVD player has been installed in the entertainment cabinet along with a digital stereo system. An additional TV is in the bedroom. Cable television and free wireless internet access are provided.
The first thing you’ll notice is the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico with it’s sugar white sand and emerald green water. Relax and dine on the balcony as you watch stunning sunsets. Our prized unit has one of the best unobstructed water views at Gulf Place.
Scenic Route 30-A is home to some of the top rated beaches in the United States. The un-crowded beach is less than a 100 yard stroll through one of the fragrant vine covered pathways provided for Gulf Place guests.
There are three private beach access paths. Or swim in one of the three pools, two of which are heated during cooler weather. There are also two hot tubs, tennis courts, shuffleboards, walking trails and cooking grills for your enjoyment.
A large common green features seasonal entertainment or a place to play soccer, baseball or Frisbee. Gulf Place occupies a special area of 30-A, away from traffic and high rises yet seven miles to Destin.
In Gulf Place you’ll find boutiques , Miss Lucille’s ice cream parlor, outdoor dining at the Smiling Fish Café or Amore Pizzeria and a bike rental shop.
Along 30A, miles of bike paths hug the coast passing through 11 different beach towns each with it’s own character. There are 4 state parks with pristine pine forests and boardwalks that rise above the wild sea oat covered dunes.
Drifts of wildflowers are present nearly year round and 11 rare coastal dune lakes occasionally open to the sea. 30-A offers unspoiled nature at it’s best!
Nearby Seaside, the cultural and commercial center of 30-A, has attracted worldwide attention for it’s “new urbanism” concept and outstanding architecture. Here you will find art galleries, shops, fine dining and a repertory theatre.

The white sand beaches with clear turquoise water in Santa Rosa are probably the most beautiful in the world. Nearby Grayton Beach always ranks in the top of the 10 best beaches. Plus we love the many coastal lakes, state parks and the 30 mile bike path that hugs the coast.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Gulf place has everything! There are three pools, two hot tubs, tennis courts and shuffle board. The bike path is right out front as are four private beach accesses. In addition there are shops, restaurants and a new bar. The architecture and landscaping are beautiful.

We loved this condo! The location was perfect for us. It was close enough to Destin, but nice and quite and cozy. The elevator is across from the unit, which was not loud or intrusive. The washer and dryer are also across the hall and this was very handy to have access to. The view from the condo is amazing and you can hear and see the waves crash on the beach. The extras in this condo are beyond the usual rental condo experience. There are games, books, beach gear, and lots of blankets, sheets and towels. The kitchen is well stocked and you can cook a full meal with all of the extra appliances, utensils and spices. The extra half bath is very helpful even with two adults. We will definately return to this unit and look foward to bringing our son to stay in the cute bunkbeds.

Just returned from our stay in this unit. EVERYTHING was wonderful. It was very clean, everything worked well & it was just as represented in the listing. Free laundry facilities just across the hall was very convenient. The view of the Gulf is even better than the picture indicates. I thought perhaps it would be a "peekaboo" view, but it was a full view of the water. Speaking of the water, if you have not visited this area of the Gulf, it's the bluest I have seen since our visit to the Caribbean. I would definitely recommend this unit for a couple or a small family.

Thank you to our condo owners for accurately describing the condo and for being so helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do in Santa Rosa. This was our first trip to Florida and we were not disappointed! The condo was clean and charming with a well equipped kitchen to cook meals for our family. Easy walking distance from the beach which was not crowded at all. We would absolutely stay in this condo in the future. Just perfect for our family of four!

Our family of 4 booked the condo for our first trip back to the beach since having children. We wanted something clean, affordable, kid-friendly, within walking distance to the beach & surrounded by great restaurants. Our week was close to perfect! Santa Rosa is a FABULOUS location; peaceful, laidback & not full of high-rises & the crowds that you find in other popular spots. The bunk hallway (with privacy curtain) was wide enough for our 2 yr old's Pack-n-Play, and the top bunk w/ bed rail was great for our 4 yr old who is just learning to sleep in a "big bed." We shopped the local Publix for breakfast & lunch, and ate dinners at the great local restaurants between San Destin & Seaside (highly recommend Stinky's; Louis Louis; & Red Bar). The beach was a short walk across the street, and we really appreciated use of the umbrella & chairs that were provided. Laundry room is right outside the door (it's FREE); I used it at least 3 times during our visit, and never had to wait for an open washer or dryer. We had only 2 glitches during our stay: 1) it was apparent that the cleaning service had not dusted the condo in some time; and 2) the master bedroom mattress sags & is uncomfortable to sleep on, probably because the legs were propped up (for space under the bed) and it's not being properly supported. Other than that, it was clean & beautifully decorated. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation; loved Santa Rosa so much that we're planning to return again this year, & welcome the opportunity to rent this unit again.
Owner response: This winter we bought a memory foam mattress top for the master bedroom because we loved ours so much at home. It has a soft cushiony feeling while being very supportive. Our new cleaning couple keeps things spic and span and can make minor repairs so we are confident that our condo is well taken care of. Come winter we will return to make more home improvements.

Everything was so EASY and relaxed. We made lots of friends and our entire family loved your beautiful condo. The location was ideal and when we wanted alittle action, it was a quick drive into Destin and Panama City. I may never be able to go back to the crowds and action of Myrtle Beach. Highly recommend the Red Bar and Stinky's. We really enjoyed the bike paths and forgot a helmut. But of course... you had two in the cabinet for us! Thank you Nancy and Paul for making this one of our best family vacations ever!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your little slice of heaven. The view was amazing and the attention to detail was much appreciated. Paul and Nancy have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The kids enjoyed the pool located directly under the unit with super easy access via the elevator. The adults enjoyed the lovely decor of this unit , the coffee table book with area info and local menus, the view while sipping on morning coffee , being so close you can hear the surf, and beach access right across the street! We also enjoyed a delicious ice cream treat from Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor which is so close you can walk to it. We'll definitely be back!

Our family spent a week at your beautiful condo in Santa Rosa Beach. After coming to the Destin area for many, many years, this location is definitely our favorite. We enjoyed the great view from the deck, the nice pool area, dining on the deck every evening as the sun set, the many bike trails by the coastal dune lakes, and the great facilities at Gulf Place. Santa Rosa is far less commerical than Destin, but just a short drive to shopping. Publix is just 5 minutes away for groceries and supplies. We will definitely come back again!

We just returned from a stay at Gulf Place Cabanas in this unit. We have stayed in several of these units over the past year - this one was the best. This unit has been updated with pretty ceramic tile flooring and all-new, very tasteful furniture. There is a vacant lot across from this unit on the beach side of 30-A which gives you an unobstructed view. Beautiful! We watched dolphins jumping in the water each morning as we ate breakfast on the patio. There are great amenities with this complex and several very good restaurants nearby. Would definitely reccommend this area and especially this unit..
