We have a beautiful "Swiss Styled" guest house that has an upper unit and lower unit that can be split up for smaller group's or combined for multiple or larger families, Family Reunions or Wedding Parties etc.
The hostess is from Switzerland and is fluent in German. French and English. We have four kids who love to entertain also and the location is great for kids and families .
The region is a "Mecca" for outdoor activities and there are many things to do.
We are located one block from the town park and two blocks to town core yet on a quiet street. The unit was built as a Guest house and has a lot of flexibility to meet your needs.
We also can help with suggestions for numerous activities and can provide a few Mt. Bikes and other items for your enjoyment. We also can help with plans for side trips to Arches and Moab Utah, Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, Black Canyon and other great spots to visit while here. The town is great for bike riding and walking and you can use the bike path to reach the Ridgway State Park (a "state of the art facility") where there's swimming, hiking, exploring, and boating. Also we're only 10 minutes from Ouray and the Hot Springs Pool and the World Class Ski and Festival town of Telluride is only 45 minutes away. But there's plenty of relaxing time available right here with a Patio, Grill and Chimminea,(out door fire place), Water Feature and Hot Tub just out back with a trellis and hanging chairs and hammock.

Why the Owner Chose Ridgway
We fell in love with this area while visiting in 1986 right after college. I moved my landscape business down to the area and built the Guest house a few years ago for our own family reunion and now have it available for others. This is an incredible area and we feel "blessed" to live here and enjoy allowing others to experience it.

We can provide a relaxing "Home Style" stay with a European flair. Ouray is labeled the "Switzerland of America" and we have strong connections to that Country. We have incorporated some "Swiss" designs into the buildings that were "borrowed" while helping renovate Swiss chalets. We have the units furnished nicely to show off the open areas with the light knotty pine woodwork. We're sure you'll feel right at home here and will be able to relax and spend time exploring this great region and it's surroundings.
