This is a charming, comfortable mountain cabin located on a very quiet street near the Tahoe Donner Clubhouse and Tennis Club, just minutes from Downtown Truckee and within a half-hour drive of Donner Summit, Donner Lake, Lake Tahoe and more than six ski areas. The Tahoe Donner Cross-Country Ski Center is a five-minute drive away and becomes the Equestrian Center during the summer. There is a network of hiking trails which can be accessed within steps of the house.
The home features wall-to-wall carpeting throughout and a majestic great room with a wood-pellet stove. The living room and dining area are oriented to the greenbelt forest area to the rear of the house, which gives a feeling of great privacy. They open through sliding glass doors to a large wood deck and a hot tub. Patio furniture and spa maintenance provided. The rustic kitchen features vinyl tile flooring, Formica countertops and built-in appliances. There are two bedrooms and a full bath on the main floor and a master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, a full bath and loft on the second level. There is a laundry room with a washer/dryer and a two-car side-by-side garage.
Access can be provided to Tahoe Donner amenities, which include three swimming pools and jacuzzis, a newly renovated full-service fitness center, tennis club, golf club, equestrian center and the Donner Lake beach club. This is a comfy home from which to experience a variety of great mountain experiences.
