Enter the front gate into a private, gated sanctuary where you are greeted by a stone patio on your way to this lovely house, which features a front porch perfect for dumping all of your beach and day wear, large living room that flows into the dining room, 2-bedrooms and 2-bathrooms, a gorgeous cook's kitchen with marble tops, and a breakfast nook. A patio extends off of the back leading to the lush back yard and the back house, containing the 3rd bedroom and bathroom. There are beautiful Arts and Crafts detailing throughout the house, and French Doors that lead to a hidden side garden.
A great upgrade to a boutique hotel. You can spread your arms and feel at home in this spacious abode.

House is nice. Great location and close proximity to abbot Kinney. Whole foods is within walking distance and the beach is close enough as well. Had to do our own thorough clean of the kitchen because the appliances were not clean enough but I did report this to the owner House could use a little tlc but its nice and charming. Bathrooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Some nights I could sirens due to close proximity to fire hall. Owner is reliable and easy to contact I would stay again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I rented this home for 6 weeks while we relocated temporarily. It was PERFECT. The house is beautifully kept, bright and sunny, with a lovely modern kitchen. The backyard was great for our small children, who spent many hours outside in the sunshine. The main house has a nice master room with a view of the backyard and there is also a second room with a pull out couch and en suite bathroom that can be used for sleeping or tv watching. There is a small second structure that is newly renovated with a huge king bed and modern sky lit bathroom that overlooks the green backyard. It is lovely. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well kept by gardeners. The location is central Venice, within walking distance to all the best shops and restaurants on Abbott Kinney. We are very discerning people when it comes to our accommodations and we were very very happy and comfortable here. I highly recommend!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

In my opinion, Venice is the ideal beach town in all of California. Venice Beach has the widest, whitest sandy beach of anywhere I've been and the famous Venice Boardwalk is so much fun to stroll down on any given day. The town of Venice is simply amazing, as it is the epicenter of art culture in Los Angeles. There are so many famous, and up-and-coming artists and studios here its fascinating.

I love being on the doorstep of Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Venice's main retail drag. There are so many great coffee shops, galleries, some of the best caliber restaurants in Los Angeles, and hip lounges and bars for late night. For performing arts, the Electric Lodge, and L.A. Theatre are right around the corner. I love this house because you can walk to all of the best of Los Angeles - the arts, the beach, shopping, restaurants.
