Heritage Shores is a private community located at the number 3 mile marker on Alabama Highway 181. - Ocean to Bay is a private beach home that includes a King Master Suite with a 2 person jetted tub, walk-in shower and a 32” TV with satellite. Next there is a Queen Suite with a DVD/TV, private bathroom and a day bed. Also, there is a second Queen Bedroom with a TV and a bathroom. And, finally, there are built in hidden hallway bunk beds and a pullout sofa sleeper couch in the living room. The premium amenities of this beach home begin with a large combination family, dining and kitchen area. The living room has a 42’ digital TV/DVD player. The dining room seats 10 and the kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances and marble countertops. There is unlimited long distance phone use and DSL internet. And finally, there are the porches! Ocean to Bay has front and back porches that inspired us to name our beach home Ocean to Bay. - Where to begin? The closest other activity begins with Fort Morgan. Fort Morgan is a historic fort at the mouth of Mobile Bay, Alabama, United States. Some regard it as "one of the finest examples of military architecture in the New World". The post was named in honor of Revolutionary War hero Daniel Morgan. Construction was completed in 1834 and it received its first garrison in March of the same year. Fort Morgan was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1960. Your family could spend hours exploring the fort. Not an “ol’ fort buff?”, then maybe you love to bike? The 22 mile highway of 181 has become "the" place to bike. You will see dozens of bikers on any given day riding from Gulf Shores to Fort Morgan and back again to Gulf Shores for the exercise and the scenic view.
