Absolutely fabulous place! Well designed use of the unit. The building itself is not so lovely but this particular unit is amazing. I have never been able to stay so close to the lifts, shopping and restaurants with my dog. Our family had a wonderful spring break of skiing. The ski locker is next to the gondola and truly just a few steps from the buildings elevator. It was quite convenient to take the dog outside for a walk on the pedestrian trail between Lionshead and Vail Village. The unit was very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this property. The unit is not huge but it makes very good use of the space and the third bathroom was really nice to have. I was able to drive our Suburban with roof boxes on it into the garage. We fit our family of five just fine with 1 or 2 of the younger children (8 & 10 yrs) sleeping in the second bedroom loft each night. There was also plenty of room to set up a crate for our golden retriever.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

This location was fantastic. The condo was very clean and well decorated. My husband and I brought our 19 year son and had a great time skiing. You truly do just walk out the garage to the ski lockers and walk a short distance to the lift. It was great to be able to ski down and have lunch in the condo. A soda costs $4.50 on the hill. We ate lunch and relaxed and then hit the slopes again. I would highly recommend this condo.
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

If you would like a lovely and very comfortable home away from home... this IS the place! My husband and I recently returned from vacation after spending two months (mid-August through mid-October) in Lionshead Village at Lionshead Center Condominium -- and we enjoyed every, single minute we were there. This condo is not only cozy, comfortable, and beautifully appointed... it offers one of the most fabulous panoramic views of Vail Mountain via its large living room windows. Another wonderful feature this property provides is its fabulous location -- right on Lionshead Circle. This location allows you to park your car in the building's on-site garage, and pack your car keys away for the duration of your stay, because you can walk just about everywhere! Or, simply hop onto the -- 'In Town' bus located at Lionshead Circle -- offered free of charge -- and ride to all restaurants, village shops, Vail Library, and all sorts of other activities offered in the Villages. It is so convenient! We found the building well maintained, plus it has the added advantage of having an elevator. Therefore, there will be no stairs to climb after a full day exploring the activities at the top of Vail Mountain; shopping and/or dining at restaurants in the Villages. This was truly a lovely condo in a very convenient spot and we highly recommend it. If in the future... our vacations plans should include a stay at Lionshead/Vail Villages... we would definitely choose to stay at this condo again. It was a wonderful experience.

There is not a better Lionshead condo. It is well furnished, awesome kitchen, great sleeping arrangements. While we were there for summer vacation, if I was a skier, this is the place. You could be at eagle bahn gondola in 20 seconds. its great for summer too. Right on the Gore Creek trail, its a short peaceful walk along Gore Creek to Vail Village. The bus runs right outdoors too. Its been 9 years since we last stayed in Lionshead and it is awesome with all the new buildings and renovations. Don't look any further. I looked at a lot of VRBO's in vail, and this is the one.
