I am a long-time resident of Jackson County, North Carolina. I purchased this property because of the cool elevation and high-quality craftsmanship of the cabin. We love to sit on our front porch and enjoy the long-range views of the Great Smoky Mountains. The wildlife and babbling streams which surround our acreage make for a tranquil, peaceful environment.
Why the Owner Chose Sylva
I specifically chose this location because of surrounding properties are homogenous to my own. It is rare to find a home located at 3600' which also allows easy access (paved road) and seclusion.
The Unique Benefits of this Log Cabin
Even though you are at 3600', we still provide air conditioning. We have a wood burning stone fireplace on chilly nights. We have a full-length front porch for you to relax and enjoy the views. We have a natural spring flowing in the backyard, which feeds a small pond. We have also installed satellite television for those rainy days when you choose to just lounge around the cabin.
