Nestled among pine trees, our home is 1800+ square feet with a living room that includes a 47" big screen TV and DVD player along with a wood stove. The kitchen is completely furnished. The large wrap-around patio offers a fenced area for privacy on one side with an open view to the property surrounding the house and it's wild life. Winter or summer, the area offers peace and serenity in a friendly setting for families. You can enjoy two Golf Courses right in Black Butte Ranch!
We have two down stairs bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other with a queen bed. The upstairs offers two loft bedrooms with a set of bunk beds in each, along with a balcony off one of the rooms. There is also a sitting area upstairs for reading or just relaxing. The house has air conditioning for use in the summertime - when temperatures can get into the 90's.
We have two gas BBQ's on the patio, and lawn furniture, including two patio tables, and chairs for as many as 14 people for entertaining.

Year Purchased: 1990
Our partners in our house were the people that first turned us on to the property, and they have done a wonderful job of giving the house an outdoors feel, with fishing, camping, golf and skiing decor ... all activities we enjoy. We are golf fanatics, and the two courses at the Ranch are among the nicest we have ever played. In our 30+ years of staying at the Ranch, we have never failed to feel the burdens of life melt away while staying at our home in Black Butte.
Why the Owner Chose Black Butte Ranch
My wife and I were looking for a place where we could enjoy the great outdoors while not giving up the luxuries of a home. Black Butte Ranch offered not only the safety for our children we desired, but too many activities to enjoy in the limited amount of time we could get off for vacations! The answer was simple ... buy a home in Black Butte and work hard to make sure we could enjoy the area on a regular basis, which is what we have done for over 30 years now!
The Unique Benefits of this House
Pools, tennis courts, planned activities for kids, 18 miles of bike trails, horseback riding plus all the outdoor activities of Central Oregon exist in this community. In addition, two restaurants, a spa, two champion golf courses within two miles, a small grocery store and other amenities are within mere minutes. The western town of Sisters, Oregon offers easy access (10 minutes) and untold hours of exploring. In addition, the #1 ski resort in Oregon (Mt. Bachelor) lies 1 1/4 hours away, while the Hoo Doo ski area is 20 minutes from the ranch.
