Welcome to our Banff Beaver Cabin, a “Class B Alberta Heritage Site” and one of the earliest tourist cabins built in Banff. Our cabin consists of one fully furnished, 2 bedroom cabin, with a full bathroom, microwave kitchenette with coffeemaker and fridge, living room with T.V. And with all the amenities of home. Situated in downtown Banff, one block away from Banff’s main street.
Located within the heart of Banff, this cozy cabin is a peaceful refuge surrounded in panoramic beauty. Grab your morning latte from Starbuck’s or brew your own in your cabin and head up Tunnel Mountain, a 40 minute hike out your back door, to catch the breathtaking views and sunrise. Then head out for a game of golf on one of Alberta’s finest golf courses, all within easy commuting distance, or saunter downtown to find the trendiest shops and more. All this makes for a fabulous vacation destination.
We offer a continental breakfast,homemade granola, fruit and home baked buns in the morning, cookies in the afternoon at checkin. We are one block away from the Banff Ski shuttle bus, and minutes away from hikes and scrambles around Banff, spectacular mountain views, free high speed wireless internet, a smoke free environment and off-street parking.
Thousands of visitors each year make the journey to Banff National Park, the first national park in Canada and the world’s third. Covering 6,641 square kilometres or 2,564 square miles of valley, wild life, glaciers, rivers, Rocky Mountains, meadows and forests. Why the Owner Chose Banff
To live in Banff, Alberta, Canada's most beautiful National Park, has always been a dream of ours. We just love the hiking, skiing, fresh mountain air, relaxed way of life, wildlife and being closer to our family and parents, who has lived near Banff for years.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We are located one block east of Banff's main street, close to all restaurants, shopping and public transportation, and relaxing tranquil morning walks. A short drive away brings you to world class ski resorts, fabulous hiking and scrambling, climbing, kayaking, winter dog sledding, skiing, Olympic Nordic cross-country skiing centre, various wildlife, wonderful photography, and a host of other activities.

Our dream has always been to own our own business and to live in the mountains. So we jumped at the chance to purchase a home in Banff, with separate cabins on the property, to operate as a bed & breakfast. Lloyd and I previously worked in the hospital field in dietary and housekeeping and now look forward to hosting you, while Lloyd now works at the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital.
