This unit is perfectly situated within ski boot walking distance to the slopes, one door from the front desk and clubhouse. The condominium offers a free shuttle service in the winter to the slopes and elsewhere and Steamboat Springs, as well as the local bus stop being located across the street from the complex. The on-site concierge can help with activity and dining information.
This unit backs up to a walk out area close to the grills and pool area. A grassy, maintained area is next to the patio with several aspen trees. Enjoy a game of catch outside!
In the winter, the unit is so close to the mountain, you can ski back to the street and walk across for lunch. The heated one-car garage is a nice treat in the winter when temperatures dip.
The atmosphere of the unit is warm and cozy and has many special touches to make each guest feel as though they were right at home in Steamboat Springs.

Year Purchased: 2004
I moved to Colorado in 1998 from the East Coast and have enjoyed playing in the mountains. I am very familiar with different outdoor activities, both winter and summer, and can easily suggest many trails or contacts for outdoor adventures. Steamboat has become one of my favorite mountain locations, and I enjoy visiting often. One day, I hope to become a full-time resident of this beautiful place.
Why the Owner Chose The Phoenix
Since arriving in Colorado, I have skied many resort locations, but found myself coming back to Steamboat at least annually. As I've spent more time here, I realized that the winter offers some of the best and most abundant powder snow in the state. The town is a "real" town in a sense that many residents live here throughout the year, people are friendly, and there is a sense of community. In the summer, there are many trails, springs, and two state parks within driving distance that have made Steamboat a summertime favorite. I had stayed at the Phoenix prior to becoming an owner and love the location and amenities.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
One of the best features of the condo is its proximity to the mountain. I rarely use the shuttle service and walk across the path to the mountain in the morning. In the afternoon, the slope of the mountain allows you to ski all the way back to Apres Ski Way with a short walk across the street to the complex. This is also a larger 2 bedroom unit being nearly 1,036 sq. ft.

I've stayed at this condo several times over the years and have always had an enjoyable time. The condo is easy to find, extremely convenient, and very comfortable. I love that its within walking distance from the slopes, close to good restaurants and bars for après ski activities. I look forward to returning soon.

Thank you for a beautiful place to stay at the base of the mountain. We had fresh snow - powder days - all weekend. Steamboat never disappoints us. We had a great weekend with our teenage children. Love the closeness to the gondola, shops, and restaurants.

Great location and access to the slopes and a variety of slopeside restaurants! No need to hunt for ski area parking or waiting for the shuttle bus from this property. Short walk from door to gondola for skiing, as well as mountain biking. Very cozy and comfortable any time of the year! I have stayed here all seasons, participating in a variety of outdoor activities that Steamboat and the surrounding area has to offer. I have recommended to relatives and friends, and will continue to do so in the future. Owner is always helpful in answering questions and providing detailed directions.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Steamboat! Enjoy the location with a group of friends or family. The mountain is within walking distance...very convenient! After a day of adventure this is the perfect place to relax. We have stayed several times and will continue to return. We feel like it is "our" vacation home. We highly recommend it!
