We stayed at Casa Coronado for 5 nights whilst touring America for 5 weeks. The condo looks nice on the web but in reality is even better. the pictures really don't do the place justice. it is a beautiful condo - very well equipped - more like a hotel - the patio is large and inviting - and the view of course is fabulous. we had a variety of trips planned for our stay in san diego - seaworld, the air museum, lego land etc etc but upon arrival we didn't do anything other than walk along the boardwalk and go to belmont park pier for an afternoon. the kids were more than keen to simply hang out and loved the laid back atmosphere of mission beach. it mission beach were closer to brisbane australia we would come every year. by the way as i walked along the boardwalk there are plenty of condos for rent - i didnt' see any that i thought i would like better. this is a great place - we stayed in some nice places during our US trip but this was by far the best.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing.

Awesome accommodations, view, location, and amenities. Bars, restaurants, beach rentals, liquor store are all within minutes walk. Direct beach access. Plan on renting again. Perfect for family or couples. Outdoor stereo speakers didn't work but that was the only issue. Everything was in perfect condition.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing.

This review comes as we are awaiting our next stay here at Casa Coronado... We had the pleasure of staying in Sept.2009 to celebrate our daughters 25th birthday... One she will never forget and we are all going again, just to get away and be together... It is truly a house to come home to, with views out of this world... Everything is there that you will need. Once you sit on that patio, I guarantee you won't leave for anything !! If you can stay here I promise you will take home some of the best family memories for a very long time.... We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Coronado. The home was beautiful and just as represented on your site. The patio and BBQ area were terrific and make a great place to just hang out with family and friends and enjoy the beautiful views of Mission Beach. The home was well appointed, everything was ready when we arrived and the check-in/out procedure was incredibly simple. very nice place to stay when staying at mission beach, plenty of room, very nice patio with all the amenities grill, frig, umbrellas, patio furniture, large sliders to the patio were awesome. views unbelievable at sunset. dolphins every night to watch, outside play area for the kids was great . Management was always a call away. not knowing where to stay the first time is always worry some don't worry here just relax and enjoy.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Our stay at this rental had fantastic ocean views. The amazing outdor space provided a barbecue grill, seating for 8 and a lounge chair for two, with an umbrella for shade. The manager was available if necessary to insure that everything was working properly. We had no problems and would highly recommend this two bedroom, two bath unit.Did you find this review helpful? This was a great vacation rental for my family. The condo was just beautiful and had all of the amenities you could imagine. It had a very open floor plan with comfortable furniture and flat screen televisions in every room. It also had a very large dining table that was great for large family meals. The beach front patio was just amazing....a huge outdoor kitchen with built-in bar-b-que, burner, sink, ice chest, and seating for like 12 people!!! It was great for outdoor entertaining and people watching, as the volleyball courts were directly in front of the condo on the beach. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The location was great, not too close to the noise and partying of Pacific Beach, but close enough to walk or ride bikes to some great Pacific Beach restaurants and shopping. The parking was great also, as it can be difficult to park on the streets in this area. The management of this property was also great. From reserving the unit on-line and answering questions to meeting them upon arrival and final check-out, they maintained great customer service. We will definitely rent this unit again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
