Come and share the unique experience of the Cypress Dunes neighborhood in Santa Rosa Beach, which is the way Florida is meant to be enjoyed. New house with a great floorplan. The main level has 12 foot ceilings, screened porch, covered porch, and wide pine hardwood floors. The kitchen is on the main level and has modern stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Master BR is also on the main level and has a queen bed, private bath and private covered porch. Guest BRs upsairs have new Berber carpet and each has it's own private bathroom. One guest BR has twin bunk beads. The other guest BR has a comfortable double bed.
The beaches at Cypress Dunes are not overcrowded. No high-rise condo towers anywhere near the property. The views from our "Ritz Carlton" quality Beach Club are the best in all of Florida. The neighborhood has 2 pools, a very large hot tub, an outdoor fireplace, a state of the art fitness center, tennis courts, a large grassy park, and multiple areas for nature viewing. We regularly see deer, ducks, swans, geese, and all kinds of unique plantlife in the protected cypress areas and in the adjoining nature preserve. The walking/jogging/hiking/biking trails through the nature preserve are fabulous and an experience you will not find anywhere else in Florida.
At night the beach is great for crab hunts. You are also walking distance to Elmo's Grill, the world famous nightly kids dance contest, and all you can eat crab legs. Just ask us, and we'll include a bottle of wine with your stay from our personal wine cellar at no charge!!!

We live in Atlanta, GA and have 3 kids ages 9, 7, and 3. We have enjoyed our summer home since 2004 and have never rented it until this year (2009). We love the "Ritz Carlton" quality amenities that Cypress Dunes has to offer in our beach club and in the design of our house. John Willis did a great job building our house. We love to sit on the screened porch and listen to the ocean at night.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Walton County has done a great job preserving the natural feel and ambiance of the Florida Panhandle with views and scenery not obstructed by multi-story high rise condo towers. The Cypress Dunes neighborhood is no exception with the prettiest views of the dunes, ocean, and sunset in all of Florida. The natural dunes not only protect the beach at Cypress Dunes but also allow for great hiking, biking, fishing, and the absolute best running trails. The fresh water dune lakes are only a few feet from the Gulf of Mexico and are as rare as they are beautiful. The amenities in the Cypress Dunes include a world class beach club, pool, and exercise equipment along with a large open grassy park in the middle of the neighborhood, which is great for soccer, croquet or anything you can do outdoors.
