This rental is the top level of beautiful remodeled villa- has separate, private entry to guest level, 2 rooms plus kitchen (equiped w/refrigerator, stove, microwave) and 2 baths -one room is a master bedrrom, 2nd room is Living/Dining room with 2 sleeping sofas. Both rooms have AC units. BR2 has satelite TV (flat screen). Wireless internet available in the house.Park your car in front of the home (gated). Gas BBQ, clothes washer, outdoor bowling, dart board game available in the house.Magnificient view from private large shaded balcony (27'x9').This is the only area of the house that is rented. The owners occupy the rest. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the bay and encient town with the focal point- church tower, landmark of town.You will never be bored even if you are at home,relaxing on the balcony, watching the boats coming and going from the old port or observing people walking to and from town.
Beautiful mature trees and plants in front and back yard provide a lot of shade.Villa is located on the hill, frequently it gets breezy and the temperature is pleasant at night.
You have plenty of room to park the car in gated surrounding of the house. Walk to town beach is 5 minutes, 8 minutes walk to down-town. City playground for kids is 5 minutes walk.
Beaches are all walking distance with a lot of shade trees that provide comfort.
Minimum stay 5 nights.
If you stay more than 10 nights, the owner will provide one home cooked dinner.
There are many private tour boats that offer day tripps arond the island or visits to neighboring islands. Also there are boats for rent in town.
From Island of Krk you can go to different islands via ferry boats (to islands Cres, Rab, Mali Losinj)or you can drive in direction North/West and be in Venice, Italy in about 4 hours (less if you go on a tour boat).Well known national park Plitvice Lakes are about 2 and1/2 hours South/East.Large town/port of Rijeka is less than 1 hour drive North/West. Ferries and Cruise boats go from Rijeka to Split, Zadar, Dubrovnik (major provider for these trips is "Jadrolinija"- check them on line).

Why the Owner Chose Krk
The island of Krk is conveniently located in Northern Adriatic (Kvarner Bay), only 2 hours 30 minutes drive from capital of Croatia, Zagreb, about 45 minutes drive from town of Rijeka.The bridge connects the island to main land- no need to use the ferry.The vegetation on the island is lush and the temperatures are much milder than in Southern Adriatic.The Krk island has its own airport( "Rijeka Sky Harbor") with charter flights from many towns of Europe and accomodates private jets.You can hop to the neighboring islands via boat ferries (several times a day to island Cres and island of Rab).In 4 hours (drive) you can be in Venice,Italy.Popular day tour boat trips to Venice are from Porec and Pula.Krk has a underground cave BISERULJKA that is great to visit in hot summer days (about 30 min drive).Large marina PUNAT is about 15 min away.

This BEAUTIFUL Residence was a precious vacation getaway for us! First of all, you can't believe the VIEWS! Then, you are just a short walk from the amazing SEA & centuries-old VILLAGE. All the shops, little restaurants, and people are so CHARMING & inviting! BEST of all, the genuine hospitality & warmth you feel with Kruno & Slavica as hosts... are PRICELESS :) We can't wait to go back!
