The Grey Barn is a beautifully renovated house specially designed for vacations, retreats and short term rentals in the heart of the Finger Lakes. With four unique bedrooms, two downstairs and two upstairs, it can easily sleep seven guests and beyond! The Grey Barn is similar to a bed and breakfast only you make your own breakfast or other meals when you want, and what you want.
The new kitchen is large and completely equipped. There are large sunny living spaces, a dining area and an open upstairs area for recreation and kids to play. One and a half baths, full laundry with fresh linens, towels and soaps provided, The Grey Barn is truly a complete home away from home.
There is also a second level porch with fantastic views and a tiny frog pond. We even have a ready-to-use grill so you can host an outdoor BBQ while watching the sunset!
The Grey Barn is perfect for families on vacation, visiting students, reunions, weddings, or any occasion. Hikers, cyclists, ornithologists and all recreation minded folks are welcome to stay to take advantage of all the Finger Lakes has to offer. On 2 pristine acres, there’s lots of room to get out and enjoy the country. It is located close to Universities, State Parks, Wineries, Ithaca and the airport nothing is very far away.

Take advantage of our fantastic farmer's market and make some gourmet meals or take food from around the world home to enjoy on the patio. We are centrally located, close to Ithaca, parks, shopping and universities.

When I came to the finger lakes I knew I was home. As a lover of the country there is no more beautiful scenery than Cayuga Lake and its rolling hills and waterhfalls. As a lover of cities, Ithaca is a unique blend of college town, agricultural center and state of the art high tech industry. There are restaurants representing cuisine from all over the globe, world renowned museums and infinite things to do and see. As a nurse and farmer and now VRBO member I love helping people get the most from their well earned vacations.
