Welcome to our home away from home!
The Summit Condominiums are located directly on the beach and all the units feature large private balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. There are 2 large swimming pools, 2 children's pools, 2 large outdoor hot tubs and 1 indoor hot tub. Also, an arcade room, exercise center, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, dry saunas (both his & hers), Bikini Bob's restaurant, Convenience store/Ice Cream shop, and poolside tiki bar.
Free use of internet on computers provided by the Summit in the lobby area or connect to free WIFI using your own computer in your condo. Great beach and location.
Our completely remodeled and updated unit (all new as of May 2010) offers all the amenities of an upscale home PLUS a spectacular beach view!
We also have one and two bedroom units at The Summit so get your friends to come too!

This was not a very clean condo to stay in. It was not a high end condo, and I rated it average because the bathrooms were very dirty, the towels were smelly and we had to wash everything. The sheets had not been changed on the beds so we ended up washing the sheets and pillow cases. The floors were so dirty our feet were black immediately. We were our shoes the whole time. There were not kitchen towels. There were not enought towels or washcloths for the condo, so we bought some to use. We have stayed in luxurious condos and regular condos, and this was a regular condo. Since the shower curtains were torn and filthy - black mold, body hairs and residues etc...we took them down and requested new ones. We had to wash the cloth shower curtains because they were also awful. We had to re-clean the bathrooms AGAIN even after the "cleaning man" came back and used a filthy washcloth dipped inside the toilet bowl to wipe the toilets and counters...it grossed us out. This is an older unit. I previously posted a review and for some reason it did not get posted here. I don't know if the owner deleted or blocked it or not, but this review is necessary.

We enjoyed out week at the beach, with the great weather and time to relax. The owners of this condo might want to check on another cleaning company due to lack of cleanliness of the bathrooms, and linens such as towels. The condo is very large, with plenty of room for several people. The view from the balcony is spectacular. We have stayed at many different condos through the years, and this condo would rate an average.

If u stay in this unit better take fans we had to purchase them and when I called owner after being told different stories from Summit Main Dept about why HOT in Condo ....He said I had attitude ( at a temp of 79 in condo and after paying i believe anybody would have attitude )and he was on way and hung up on me Well never showed up ..... But was not going to let him ruin my vacation I Love Summit Property BUT WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS OWNER AGAIN...........
Owner response:This admittedly rude guest was unable to follow the simple, common sense instructions provided to her by the Manager of the Summit maintenance department regarding the air conditioner in this beautiful unit. I have attached the completed work order performed by the manager and dated Sunday, July 24, 2011, indicating that the air temperature coming out of the plenum was 58 degrees and the unit was cooling "very good". Unfortunately, this guest chose to leave her sliding glass door open as well as keep all the bedroom doors closed. This created an air imbalance and every time the front door opened it basically evacuated all the cold, dry air from the unit and replaced it with hot, humid air. Apparently at some point during the week she did comply with the instructions, as the unit was 72 degrees when I checked it the morning of her departure on July 30, 2011. I again checked the unit on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, and the unit temperature was 69 degrees. On Saturday, August 6, 2011, the unit temperature was 70 degrees. In conclusion, you can't fix what's NOT broken! Her inability to follow instructions was the sole cause of her dissatisfaction. It should also be noted that she had lowered the thermostat to 63 degrees on her day of arrival (which I promptly changed to 70 degrees). You don't get colder air by lowering the thermostat - that is nothing more than an abuse of the mechanical equipment. We want our unit to remain beautiful and in proper working order so we do not knowingly rent to abusive people. If you are someone who thinks it's okay to put a thermostat on 63 degrees, please rent from someone else!
