Secluded Condo W/Captivating Waterfall Close to Asheville
Year Purchased: 1998
Why the Owner Chose Lake Toxaway
It is simply a peaceful, beautiful, quite area full of natural beauty. It's approximately 3,000 ft. above sea level with a fantastic view of the mountains and waterfall. That's what drew us to this place. Any direction you take, you will find an abundance of things to do and discover beauty around every corner of these gorgeous Smoky Mountains.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Having this captivating waterfall to look at 24-7 and the sound of flowing water cascading down the mountain side. I love the bird feeders - you can sit and watch various birds feed most all day including the humming birds. The air smells fantastic and the water is so clear and clean. Every season of the year is a joy to behold. I love the fireplace in the winter and the mountains crested with snow. Even though it doesn't snow alot, it's just enough to make everything look like a wonderland. The summers are pleasant with no humidity and the flowers are so plentiful everywhere.
Hwy 64W Coming from Brevard, Hwy West 64, stay on West 64 - after going over the McNeally Bridge, take the 1st left into the parking lot of the "Restaurant on the Falls" . Turn left, down Upper Tanglewood Drive and go to the end and #4 is on the right. Should you be coming from the East on 64E, turn R before going over the McNeally bridge and turn into the restaurant parking lot and take another left down Upper Tanglewood driveway and go to the end - #4 is on your right.
Toxaway, Indian word meaning, Red Bird. Toxaway is called the Land of the waterfalls because of the number of waterfalls in the area
Morning coffee shop, fresh baked goodies and next door (same owner) lunch and dinner. check it out - 5 minutes away
Owner's Map of Lake Toxaway
My husband bought me this small piece of heaven for an engagement gift. We both fell in love with the area. We have been coming to Lake Toxaway ever since, but decided to include it in my vacation rental business at Tybee Island, Ga. where we live year round. It is so beautiful that we felt like sharing this place with others who could enjoy God's natural beauty. We both stay busy working, and love what we do. We look forward to coming to Lake Toxaway til this day - we just can't get enough of it. We take turns bringing 2 grandchildren each summer to share our time with them. My favorite saying is, "Time is precious, waste it wisely"

If you're looking for a beautifully decorated condo that sits next to a breathtaking waterfall, look no further! We sat in the swing on the spacious veranda for hours just looking at and listening to the peaceful waterfall. Add to that the close proximity to nice restaurants, trails, more waterfalls, a state park and so many more fun activities, we will be back!!
Owner response:Thank you Tracy for such a nice review concerning our mountain retreat. We love the place and I have had a marvelous time decorating it over the years.
