We had a wonderful time at your cabin! It had everything we needed and more! It is beautiful and more than accommodated us. We enjoyed our coffee on the front porch in the morning watching the deer and the hummingbirds. Everyone, especially the kids enjoyed building a fire and toasting marshmellows. It is centrally located and close enough to take day trips on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Thanks again for having us we hope to be able to vacation at the cabin again soon!

My husband and 2 younger sons flew from California to North Carolina for a long weekend with our older son, wife and 3 grandchildren. We had a wonderful time visiting and enjoyed our weekend. Kountry Kabin is a beautiful house, very clean and had everything we needed right there in the house. The woods were wonderful and we loved feeding the deer from the porch. The kids had lots of space to run and play in the woods without us worring about them. We would go back to Kountry Kabin anything for another family visit.

Kountry Kabin proved to be a real life-saver for my sister and me during our recent six-week stay while our home was undergoing extensive rennovations. The location/setting was ideal and truly lived up to its name. The cabin was well-maintained and had all of the comforts of home and then some! We also enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife on a daily basis. Family and friends visited while we were there and enjoyed it as well. Not to mention the generous hospitality shown to us by Gene and Minnie. We would highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. The accomodations were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. Lots to do in the area for kids and adults. The natural surroundings were entertaining for the kids. But nice to have all of the comforts of home inside the cabin.

What a great place to stay! We are so sorry that we only were able to spend 3 nights at the cabin. Totally cozy and comforting. The beds snuggled you in and allowed you to sleep comfortably all night. Decorated with awesome taste. The location was central to many different activities. We went to Mystery Hill about an hour away, Asheville was only 45 minutes away. Lots of deer on the property. Can't wait to return again some day. Thanks Gene and Menelia!

Thank you for a wonderful vacation spot. The cabin is beautiful and located close to some great attractions like Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Not to mention it was well stocked and clean as a whistle. Nicely appointed very quiet cabin. Fully equipped kitchen. Highly recommended. Location is very convenient to US-74 and less than 15 minutes to downtown Rutherfordton.
