My husband and I met on Shelter Island. We feel very fortunate to be able to share this wonderful place with our three children. Our “Real Life” in Fairfield, CT is consumed by stressful work environments along with busy and sometime crazy schedules with two children in high school and one in middle school enjoying many academic and organize sporting activities this makes us all appreciate our “Pretend Life” on Shelter Island. This "Pretend Life" is filled with easy going days, badminton in the yard, bike rides into town for ice cream, hikes at the Nature Conservancy, sails in Peconic Bay, afternoons at the beach, a bit of fishing and maybe a little golf or tennis. We let the day take us were it may, we slow down and reunite as a family here.
