Helene - I just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed your home it Franklin. As I had hoped, it was the perfect gathering spot for our family. With family staying in a few houses in town, River Whispers offered a great place to call home base. A good time was had by all as we hiked, rafted & tubed i n the area. Coming back to the house to cook-out and relax on the deck by the river was wonderful!!

Our extended family of 7 spent a week at Rivers Whisper and had a fantastic time! We found the home to be just as it was described on the website. It is at the end of a pretty secluded road and surrounded by trees, mountains and river. The amenities in the home are top notch. The king suites and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. The bunk room will easily sleep 4. The dining room table accommodated our family of 7 with plenty of room to spare. The house deck facing the river is a great place to start the day with a hot cup of coffee. We ended most days relaxing on the deck by the river. Hiking, rafting, floating and gem mining are all a short drive away -- that is if you every want to leave this wonderful home.

My family and I stayed here in Oct. 2010. We had a wonderful time in Franklin and we felt as if we were staying in the most modern property we have ever rented. The accommodations were spectacular, for example the hardwood flooring, furnishings, beds, kitchen appliances, and even the heated toilets. They were especially a hit with the kids. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the house as much as possible because we spent most of our time outside on the river deck which had a gas fire pit and a full kitchen. We hope to return next fall.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

MY FRIENDS AND I LOVE IT HERE SO MUCH, THAT WE'VE STAYED HERE 3 TIMES AND PLAN ON MANY MORE. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT. IT'S ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO THE HIGHLANDS, WHITE-WATER RAFTING, OR TO MAJOR LAKES AND WATERFALLS. THE HOUSE IS INCREDIBLE. IT FEELS LIKES A HIGH END HOME AND NOT A RENTAL WITH EVERY AMENITY YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED AND PLENTY OF SPACE. MANY DAYS WE NEVER WENT ANYWHERE, WE JUST FLOATED DOWN THE RIVER ON INNER-TUBES, FISHED OFF THE BACK DECK AND BBQ-ED BY THE FIRE, ENJOYING THE SERENITY, BEAUTIFUL VIEWS AND GOOD COMPANY OF FRIENDS. I WOULD DEFINITELY SUGGEST STAYING HERE FOR WHATEVER YOU'RE LOOKING FOR IN A VACATION.

My friends and our four children just spent a week at this beautiful home and it was better than we had imagined. Everything was as described - the furnishings and decor are top of the line and the rooms are very spacious. We spent every evening out by the river at the firepit and summer kitchen. It's a great location - 20 minutes to NOC rafting, waterfalls, etc. We will definitely stay here in the future!
