This is a 3000+ sq ft luxury log home that we built 7 years ago with breath taking views of the Presidential range and Franconia valley.
The upstairs consists of a full bath and two very large bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, 1 with a queen bed and the other with a queen and a trundle for those with small kids. The master bedroom/bath is on the first floor furnished with a queen bed. All the queen mattresses are Heavenly Mattresses from Nordstroms and reason enough for an overnight stay alone!!!! The great room features a 30' stone fireplace and a Jotul wood stove, two large sofas and a satellite TV with an all glass front overlooking Cannon Mountain, Kinsman Ridge, Garfield and so much more. The kitchen/dining room is attached with stainless appliances and granite countertops. There is a very large table in the dining room that will sit 10 and a breakfast bar that seats another 3.
The first floor is all cherry flooring and upstairs is wall to wall. We have a foosball table, plenty of movies, a TV in the den with Nintendo and PS2, a massage chair and an assortment of board games and puzzles. There are 2 large decks off both ends of the house perfect for grilling, relaxing or star gazing!

Why the Owner Chose Franconia
We chose this location because it offered our family four seasons of use within driving distance of Boston. We are avid hikers and the best hiking in New England is within a 20 minute ride in any direction. Cannon Mountain, Bretton Wooods, Loon and Waterville Valley ski resorts are all within a 25 minute ride from the house. Whether you like outdoor activities, hanging out, shopping or a round of golf, it is all available whenever you want!
