Welcome to The Chart House! This stunning home is located on a deep canal in Crystal River with direct gulf access and no bridges. The home is divided into two completely separate luxury units: the Bimini suite (upstairs) & the Key West suite (downstairs). This listing is for the 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom Bimini suite that will sleep 6-8 people. It is approximately 10 minutes from King’s Bay and 20 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico by boat. The Bimini suite has it own private dock and a fish cleaning area by the water. The suite features 2,400 square feet of living space upstairs and was completely renovated in June 2009. It contains only brand new, high-quality furniture including Sealy Posturepedic® mattresses and Broyhill® furniture. There is a great room, stone-gas fireplace, and a sleeper sofa.
The suite also offers an open, eat-in kitchen with all of the amenities. The master suite has a California king bed, a private bath, and a two-story wood deck offering a magnificent water view. The second suite also has a king bed and private bath. The third bedroom features two twin beds. In addition in the living room there is a pull-out Queen size bed. Linens, towels and paper products are provided for your use. There is a stainless steel gas grill available with plenty of propane to cook up your fresh catch!
Crystal River has activities for the whole family, including world-class flats fishing in clear waters for red fish, trout, Spanish mackerel, cobia, and tarpon. Crystal River offers one of the few remaining areas to scallop in Florida during the summer. You can catch freshwater bass and trap blue crabs off the dock, or look for manatees and dolphins. Offshore, there is terrific shallow and deepwater grouper fishing. Within a short drive, there is a mall with a multiplex movie theater, restaurants and shopping in historic downtown Crystal River, kayaking, Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, Crystal River Archaeological State Park, walking and bike trails, scuba diving, and swimming with the manatees. Plan a day trip to any of the nine state parks within 50 miles or work on your back swing at one of the 12 nearby golf courses.

Beautiful 3 BR/3 BA Waterfront Home

Why the Owner Chose Crystal River
We chose Crystal River because we loved coming here for many years before we could get our own place. It is always a thrill to watch the manatees, dolphins, pelicans, and eagles no matter how many times we have seen them. There is nothing to compare to the fishing and boating in the area, and in the summer, it is one of the last places in Florida where you can catch live scallops. We hope you enjoy the "Nature Coast" area as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Sherri and I have stayed in many fine hotels and luxury vacation rentals over the years. At one point, we started to make a list of our likes and dislikes. We created the Chart House with those ideas in mind. For example, we furnished the house with top-quality beds, mattresses, sheets, comforters, and furniture. And not furniture from a garage sale or thrift store; no, everything is new and in great shape or it is replaced. The kitchen is equipped with all the items you would find in your own kitchen, including quality knives, flatware, appliances, plates, wine glasses, napkins, towels, pots and pans, soap, detergent, and spices — everything you would need. There is a washer and dryer, irons, an ironing board, and bathroom supplies if you forget something. We do not want you running to the store; we want you to enjoy yourselves and come back for many years. We recently added new decks, gas grills, flat-screen televisions, cable, Wi-Fi, free long distance phone calls, gas cookers, a fire pit, new lighting, free kayaks to use, and new outdoor seating. We have a maintenance team that keeps everything in tip top shape all year long. There is parking for several cars and at least 2 to 3 boat trailers. The backyard is fenced for the safety of your children and dogs. The porches and deck areas are screened with a special fine mesh to keep even the smallest bug out. We pride ourselves in taking care of the tiniest detail and personally inspect the home frequently. You can reach Crystal, our very capable property manager, toll-free at 800-814-1132 x 222, and she will assist you in any way possible.
Owner's Map of Crystal River
Sherri and Doug live in Ocala, a short 45-minute drive to Crystal River. "We really enjoy the small-town feeling in Crystal River and the natural setting along the beautiful Gulf Coast. Crystal River has the very unique combination of the fresh water bay and springs and the Gulf of Mexico just a short distance away. The Chart House is perfectly situated halfway between the two. You won't find any high-rise condos here in one of the last remaining natural areas of Florida. Yet Crystal River offers all the modern conveniences of shopping, restaurants, supermarkets, movie theatres, a mall, unique shops in the historic district, and more. It has it all."

We bought this rental in an auction and did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful house and view. Even the fresh cut flowers on the table! The air conditioner went out but was fixed very quickly. We will definitely be back to the “Bimini”!

Very roomy and nice. We sat on the dock for hours in the afternoon/evening trying to catch the tarpon we saw rolling in the canal. Got one into our hands and it started fighting and got loose. Had one hooked two more times but it broke the line. We had a wonderful time, we will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

We rented both houses for our two families and we were so comfortable. We absolutely loved this place and will be coming back!! They have thought of everything at this place. You truly just need to bring yourself and your clothes because everything else is here.
