Imagine driving up the original rails of a missile launch track to reach your Four Mile Village retreat. To get to Sea Schroer Cabin you have to do just that.
History Buffs will love this unique spot...Range C64; the year 1944...The start of Americas Strategic Missile Program...blasting JB2 missiles into the Gulf of Mexico...These were replicas of Hitler's V1 missile, the first pilotless jet propelled technology; right where your cabin sits. There is even a concrete bunker, used as refuge during launchings, at the end of a nature trail right outside your cabin door, that few people ever get to see because it is on Sea Schroer property.
The Cabin is light, airy and comfortable, with vaulted ceilings. A screened porch faces south to catch the ocean breezes.
Inside the gated community of Four Mile Village and the Coffeen Nature Preserve you will step back in time into a preserved area of coastal dune habitat. The private beach access is for owners and guests only and leads to one of the most pristine secluded beach areas in Walton County with it's sugar white sands and crystal clear emerald green waters. The beach access is 1/2 mile by car and parking is available.
The modern world with resort entertaiment, shopping and restaurants lies just across the highway and world class golf can be found nearby.
This home is privately owned but managed by the resident Caretaker for Four Mile Village and the Coffeen Nature Preserve, agent for David Walker Realty, Inc. The resident Caretaker manages the homes in Four Mile Village exclusively.
