Up and Away is a delightful hot air balloon themed house in the quaint village of Villa Grande, adjacent to Monte Rio. Villa Grande is a neighborhood of historic homes in a curve of the Russian River, with a lovely neighborhood beach and quiet streets.
This home is brand new, with hardwood floors and an open floor plan that's great for entertaining. The kitchen is a chef's delight, with stainless steel appliances, lots of granite counter-space, and an adjacent bar that allows guests to hang out and keep the cook company.
The living room is furnished with extra comfortable pieces, including a queen size sofa bed so the house can accommodate a total of 6 people, and has a large screen TV at the far end. Throughout the house you'll find charming artwork reflecting the owners' love of hot air ballooning.
The master bedroom is a luxurious retreat with queen size bed and lush green views. The smaller bedroom has a comfortable daybed with trundle that can be used as two twin beds. Each of the two full bathrooms are sleek and immaculate, with thoughtful little details like curved shower curtain rods for extra room in the tub.
In the front of the house you'll find a large deck that's perfect for morning coffee and the paper. Out back you'll find a private patio adjacent to the yard. Soak up the sun on the loungers, or dine al fresco! The backyard includes a large lawn area, and is surrounded by greenery. The yard is fully fenced, which is great for both pets and kids. The backyard even contains a dog run with kennels!
It's just a short walk to the river, where you can enjoy a large but quiet (and dog friendly) neighborhood beach. Come to Up and Away and feel yourself lifted UP and your stress floating AWAY!
