If you are in the mood for ocean views, golf course views (Bay Course at Kapalua), book this condo! We stayed there in April 2013 for 5 nights and found it to be a lovely place to stay that is very reasonably priced. Close to golf, the Pineapple Grill and Merriman's restaurants, as well as other attractions, it is a wonderful place to stay. Tradewinds come through the unit so air conditioning use is at a minimum. The area is well kept and the unit is on the top floor, although this only requires a half flight of stair climbing. Bill, the owner is easy to work with and very responsive should any issues with the condo arise. Would definitely return when we are back in the area!! Thanks again Bill for a great stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Recently stayed at Kapalua Ridge Villa #621 during an island-hopping trip with a friend from Italy. We had a great stay in a very nice, spacious villa. Open layout, full kitchen, w/d, a/c, beautiful lanai views, 2 large bathrooms, very comfortable bed, quiet location....all made for a wonderful stay! The only improvement I'd make would be to change the moldy shower curtain in the master bathroom and maybe give the tub/shower a good scrubbing. Other than that, everything was clean and perfect for us. We enjoyed some of the Olympics on the nice flat-screen, while allowing the cool breezes to flow thru the villa from the lanai. It was also fully equipped with everything we needed for a fun time on Maui. We used the blankets for our early-morning drive up to Haleakala for the sunrise, and the coolers were handy for our drive to Hana. We enjoyed the lovely ocean views while having breakfast each morning on the lanai, and we were only a short walk to many nice beaches. For the great price we paid to stay here, we got a great deal. My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at Bill's beautiful condo. It was spacious and comfortable and has an amazing view. It seemed everything about our vacation was determined to ruin our time (rain, rental car break-down, and a horrible hotel that we stayed in our first night, since this place wasn't available) but as soon as we walked into this condo, we felt at home and loved every minute of it. We didn't think that we would need to use the laundry facilities, but we ended up using it twice, since we didn't expect the rainy weather and packed inappropriately. The bed is amazingly comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. There is an ice chest and beach chairs, which we took advantage of when we went to the beach. It is within walking distance of Sansei, an amazing sushi bar that has late karaoke on Thursday and Friday nights, which is SUPER fun. Also, there is a shuttle service that you can use, which we only used once on a rainy night. There is a nice running path through the resort area and a grocery store in nearby Napili. There are several restaurants within walking distance. This was a nice out of the way vacation. We tried to pack too much into our stay, but we will know better for next time. I will definitely be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
