Start a family tradition in this 12th floor, 1,300 square foot, luxurious beachfront penthouse condominium. The Tommy Bahama décor is nice enough to be called a “penthouse”, but not so stuffy that you won’t feel right at home. Island Royale is located one block from downtown Gulf Shores making it easy walking to all it has to offer, including the Hangout, Bahama Bob’s and the Pink Pony. Unlike other condo complexes, Island Royale is newer but smaller, and helps you escape from the crowds that populate other parts of the beach.

Begin each morning with a cup of coffee on a 350 square foot deck watching the sunrise over one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Hunt for shells at low tide. Spend the daylight hours relaxing on the beach, playing with the kids, shopping at the Tangers Outlet Mall, and enjoying world-class golf at the Peninsula or Kiva Dunes golf courses. Watch the sunset from your balcony and look for the “green flash” as the sun dips below the horizon. Spend your evenings going out to any of the area’s fine restaurants (Cozmo’s, LuLu’s, Zeke’s Landing), cooking "in" using our gourmet kitchen and dining room seating for eight, or grilling in Island Royale’s picnic area. We’re not a large rental company. This is our beach home and we’ve provided everything that we enjoy to make it a comfortable stay for you and your friends or family.

Why the Owner Chose Island Royale

We started visiting my retired father in Gulf Shores in 1990. We grew to love it for the time we were able to spend as a family in absolutely wonderful surroundings. Having moved around the country quite a bit, our kids think of Gulf Shores as our real home, even though we only get to visit a few times a year.

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium

Nothing and everything to do at the same time. If we want to just relax, there's no better place than the beach and our deck. If we want something to do, you can't beat the golf courses and the night life.

 

Owner's Map of Island Royale

Jack and Jan Haedicke are the owners (along with our grown kids!) We live in Eden Prairie, MN and have been coming to Gulf Shores for almost 20 years. Jan is an X-Ray Technician and Jack owns his own Cost Accounting business.
