Our family from 4 States and overseas stayed here for my daughter's graduation at Liberty University. Great home and very comfortable. We enjoyed the property and built a good bonfire to roast marshmallows. We never could figure out the Internet and the landline didn't work, so it forced us to spend time together playing games and enjoying ourselves. The owner lives in the property next door so we weren't worried if we needed help. Would definitely go back! A short 25 minute drive to Lynchburg with gorgeous scenery.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I can't forget this place, even though I was last there 25 years ago! Tom himself is the sterling host that makes the trip an easy drive. We picked apples, baked pie and enjoyed a tour of the packing plant. As a photographer, I snagged some really typical Appalachian images- smoke mornings and more. Tom. Send me your e-mail and I'll send you some pics.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
Owner response: Happy memories created here! We now let the deer dine on the apples, and have some wonderful new guest houses, but the scenery and wildlife continue to draw great people to our corner of paradise.
