Escape the rat race. Find room to breathe. Roam 300 acres of woodland, meadow, and retired orchard, then keep on going to the adjacent Jefferson National Forest. Hike, bike, ride your horse, unleash your ATV*. Bring your camera and capture breathtaking vistas.
Visit nearby attractions. In less than 20 minutes you can be at the D-Day Memorial, Blue Ridge Parkway, James River, or Holy Land USA. Liberty University, Smith Mountain Lake, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest, and the Booker T. Washington National Monument are less than an hour away.
Economize by cooking for yourself, or splurge by calling on a local catering service. There's even a five-star restaurant three miles away -- but you will need to make reservations for the Mill Stone Tea Room!
Sit on the deck after dinner, and watch the sun set behind the Peaks of Otter. Then enjoy DVDs (or PowerPoint presentations!) on the flatscreen monitor.
Rally your team in the spacious great room, with more than 600 square feet of floor space. Or, have private meetings and check your e-mail in the conference room. Bring a spirit of adventure, and take home a harvest of memories.
