"Casa le Querce" is located in the small hamlet of Cantagallina, found in the 15th century, near the village of Villastrada, 3 km from the border to Tuscany.
From the grounds surrounding the house, one enjoys a magnificent panoramic view of fields, vineyards, olive trees, the medieval villages of Panicale and Paciano, and an enchanting valley stretching from Lake Trasimeno to the Apennine Mountains.
The house, built in 1892, has been completely and tastefully restored and has three well-equipped, comfortable and stylishly furnished apartments, each with its own entrance and terrace and garden. One apartment is occupied by the friendly owner-couple, who are happy to give you tips for trips, book restaurants and help you with everything you need.
A spacious and delightful garden has been created to provide several outside sitting areas, perfect for enjoying peace and quiet. The splendid view of the surrounding can also be enjoyed from our swimming pool, built on a lower terrace.
The nearest railway station in Chiusi is situated eight kilometers (8 km) from the house, from where one can reach the heart of Rome and Florence in just a little over one hour by Intercity train.
