This fabulous three-bedroom/two-bath beachfront home is situated on nearly an acre of land -- with lush vegetation, many oak trees, Spanish moss, and 92 palm trees.
We own a dock across the street, which is on the Florida Intercoastal waterway -- which goes north to Tampa, and south to Ft. Myers. There are plenty of restaurants on the water. Fishing is great from the dock. Or you can rent a small boat, jet ski, or a canoe.
The beach house is decorated in beach fun themes -- and is equipped with just about everything. (I am a decorator, and tend to be a perfectionist.) The home is very child-friendly -- with toys, a pack and play, highchair, and child-size table that seats six. Additional amenities include sand toys, beach towels, and beach chairs, as well as a garage, washer, dryer, and a new gas grill. NEW HD DVD Sony television top of the line picture.... There is a huge, eight-person spa on the screened porch.
It's a wonderful place to relax while watching fabulous sunsets! Our home is located right on Manasota Beach, in an area that resembles Old Florida. Come on down and experience this unique island, connected by a north and south bridge. We have many repeat renters. Handicap friendly.

This is agreat place to stay if your looking for the beach, fishing, privacy, and overall a relaxing vacation. The house is very nice, the beach is right behind you and its very private. You have a dock to fish off of right across the drive. We saw dolphins, manatees, and crabs in the ocean and the bay. My son caught a 20lb. plus snook off of the pier. The house has everything you need with shopping and restaraunts close by.

This place is just great! Stock up at the grocery store on your way in because once you arrive you will not want to leave! Our week long stay was thoroughly enjoyable. I was hesitant about the rental prepayment arrangement by check rather than credit card. However, I learned that the owners are extremely genuine and made our rental transaction seamless, otherwise. It was everything they said it would be. Bill called to check in on us to make sure all was well and he really encouraged us to enjoy the house and its ammenities rather than imposing restrictions on what we could or couldn't do during our stay. The large, open floor plan of the house is perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is gigantic and has plenty of surface space to work with and to lay out a spread for a large group without anybody tripping over each other. The view of the beach, through the multiple sliding glass doors, is magnificent, as soon as you walk through the front door, and you will enjoy it while cooking or working from inside. (We brought our own laptops: beware the internet signal and cell signals are not reliable should you absolutely need to conduct business.) Watching the waves roll up to the sand, the dolphins surfacing out in the gulf, and the spectacular sunsets were exciting even for us and we are 25 year Florida residents. The house was clean, very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and to enjoy the beach. The boat dock across the street is a great bonus feature to explore the bay side. This is real, old Florida at its best. The pictures don't do the place justice. We will definitely be back!
