New update: There are houses being built on the back right side of our condo building. It hasn't blocked our view from the balcony, just changed it some.They work Monday - Friday 7am to 5-6pm.
You won't find a condo with a better view, totally unobstructed by buildings, etc. Plus the mountain decor brings the outdoors in. And the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to cook a great meal on those nights you don't go out to try the great local restaurants. WiFi in the unit keeps you in contact if needed!
We love our condo and believe you will too. Everyone who has rented other Mountainside units say ours is the best! (It also has the biggest deck) The location is ideal for a ski vacation; our condo is within 10 miles of Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, and Keystone - it is convenient to Vail, Loveland, and A-Basin as well.
Summer in the mountains with hiking, mountain biking, or boating is spectacular. Our condo has direct access to the great bike path between Breckenridge & Vail. There are many special community activities and festivals year around to choose from. It will be hard to find a more relaxing and enjoyable vacation spot, winter or summer!

Why the Owner Chose Mountain Side
We love to travel, and there is no prettier place in the world that the Colorado Rockies. We chose Frisco because it is so charming, without the heavy dose of tourism that you find in nearby areas like Breck & Vail. Susan & Jay had been renting from us for years and shared the same values, so selling a half-interest to them was a good fit. The area teems with activities in both summer and winter seasons, and Frisco is right in the middle of it all. Frisco has a small-town feel, as evidenced by events like their July 4th celebration complete with a parade all the kids can participate in. Susan/Jay - It was our goal for many years to own a place in Summit County, not just any place but a location that supports all the activities that we enjoy. From this location we can do any winter sport including snowmobiling or skiing. Some of the summer sports come to mind easily - fishing, boating, golf, disc golf, four wheeling, and cycling. There are sporting opportunities to challenge any ability and a leisure day here is pure bliss!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
What first struck us about Mountainside was the spaciousness of the complex….huge lawn areas, flower beds & trees, a great little stream flowing thru, and right next to the mountains & trails! You think you are really in the middle of nowhere, but from Mountainside it is an easy walk or bike ride to all the restaurants, stores, and historic park of Frisco’s Main Street. If you don’t feel like going anywhere, you can swim, play tennis, racket ball or just relax in the hot tubs, steam room, or dry sauna. And the complex even owns its own small alpine lake, nestled in the most beautiful setting. Susan/Jay - Unparallel cycling, road or mountain. Mountainside is not located in condo row which is refreshing. Bill's Ranch is a first class mountain residential neighborhood where people care about each other and the property.

We (Jerry & Karen) retired to Colorado to be near kids & grandkids. We bought the mountain condo to have a beautiful place to enjoy with family. We like hiking and mild bike-riding and just enjoying the beautiful sights & smells of the Rockies. Susan and I (Jay) have always loved outdoor sports. Everything from racing motorcycles to fishing/hiking to all forms of bicycling.

This Condo holds a great view, fabulous location for walking into town, riding along the trail or just taking a retreat at the hot tub in the clubhouse. Included are all the kitchen ware to cook a luxurious meal, games to entertain the family, comforts of a well ran lodge and privacy to relax and enjoy. A lot of thoughtfulness, considerations and love have been put into this home away from home to share with those who are lucky enough to experience this most hospitable property. Enjoy and be respectful back to the great experience this property provides.

We enjoyed our skiing vacation and stay at Mountainside. It is a nice condo, very comfortable, with plenty of towels and kitchen supplies to make for a comfortable stay. The view of the mountains from the den and master bedroom is very pretty. The biking trail is close by, so I'm sure it would be very nice in summertime as well. A good choice and centrally located in Summit County.

We really enjoyed the condo and would definately return. We stayed during ski season. Condo was clean and well appointed. The condo was well represented by the pictures and descriptions on the site. Great mountain view out back! Location is great for skiing Keystone, Breck or Copper (10-15 minute drive to each). Free shuttle is located a short walk away. Frisco Main Street is also a short walk away. The kids enjoued the indoor pool. Covered parking was a big plus.

We are picky. We were looking for a condo for three weeks which is a long time get away for us newly retired folks. We came to Frisco in April and located other condos through VHBO and another rental company. After driving around Frisco, we knew we wanted Mountainside. It was quiet, yet, in close proximity to everything we wanted to do - biking, hiking, kayaking. We then were able to use a local renting company and view several of the condos in Mountainside and with Jerry's help this condo as well. After all that, this was the place for us. We concur with the others who have written about this condo. In addition, we so appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. The new keyless entry was very convenient--no key worries and so easy to use. The other guests and owners at Mountainside were friendly and respectful. We highly recommend this condo to others.

I know when I saw your condo on the website, I said to myself "this is where I want to stay". I made the right choice. I felt at home here. The condo is beautiful & I love the decorating. It was great being able to put your back pack on and walk out the door and go hiking...great views. The sunrises & sunsets were awesome. If I ever get back to CO, I hope your place is available.

Our guest book is brand new, so we are looking forward to lots of entries from those of you who choose our condo for your vacation. We have had a "hard-copy" guest book for a long time, and will add comments from that the next time we visit the condo. BTW, Jay & Susan are VERY active cyclists and Jay works for the the gas & electric company in Denver. Susan is taking courses to sharpen her computer skills. Karen & Jerry are retired and travel a lot. When home, they enjoy volunteering at the Parker Task Force and playing with their dogs & grandkids.

My family has stayed in this same unit at least half a dozen times, and we enjoy it more each time. The new kitchen is incredible, and the large deck out back can't be beat!! We have spent our best summer and winter vacations in this unit. The unit is always clean and well stocked with towels,linens, dishes, and cookware. Some of our best family memories are from our trips to Mountainside! Keep up the great work!

I really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The decor was well done in a cabin-y theme, so you got the mountain feel. The clubhouse was immaculate but is across the parking lot. However a quick trip in the sauna or soak in one of the hot tubs makes it much easier. The views are incredible and the trails are right there. We parked the car and took our bikes everywhere. We can't wait to make it back up there again!
