We are proud to announce a complimentary concierge service that provides a chauffeured ride from the airport, offers for your pre-arranged rental car to be awaiting you in the driveway of the home, and delivers groceries to be ready in the home upon your arrival (see below*).

The stunning house is comprised of 4 bedrooms and 4½ baths with a variety of features including an atrium entry with cathedral ceilings, skylights, a large living room, delightful family room, convenient indoor and outdoor dining, and a game room with a fully equipped bar. You will enjoy a spacious, open floor plan, with all but the master bedroom on one single level. Benefit from the heated swimming pool with a beautiful waterfall.
Only steps away from a private sandy beach, the short stroll along the oceanfront leads you to a reef-protected beach cove lagoon which is suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and playing in the sand. Abundant tide pools dot the lava rock shelf fronting the homes in the area. Beach chairs are provided for your leisure. Enjoy the turtles, dolphins, and whales!
The splendid property is located in the prestigious, gated and 24-hour security-guarded community in Kailua-Kona, situated directly facing the deep sapphire blue waters of Kona Bay. You can walk to the tennis courts or into Kailua-Kona for entertainment, dining, and shopping. Just a few minutes’ drive to the south are the world-famous Kona coffee plantations, snorkeling bays of Keahou and Kealakekua, and historic sites including the City of Refuge and the Captain Cook Monument. Message from the owner about airport experiences:
'An inconvience I experience at the airport is arriving with more than 270 other people at the same time (in Paradise), all in a rush to get to the rental car location. I have had many long waits in line upon exiting the airport in the bustle of travelers and the Hawaiian heat. I struggle, hauling my luggage towards crowded shuttle lines while my family waits in the hot sun. I then board a busy shuttle and trek to the rental car lines, with my bags in tow, where I wait with the crowds of travelers.'
That being said:
Imagine, instead, exiting the airport with your bags and being greeted by a driver with leis and a sign with your name. Your luggage is then stowed in the waiting car by the driver. Upon entering the car, cold water and Hawaiian chocolates await you. You are whisked away to the home, and, upon arrival, the driver helps carry your bags into the home.
Waiting for you at the home is your pre-arranged, rental vehicle and groceries for your stay. Email or call for more information.

Very nice home and support personnel to assist us. Family was very happy with all the accomodations. Fantastic views, pool, and house. Just an excellent location. We had a lot of fun!! Security was always around and helpful. Felt safe there. Our family of 10 had a great vacation at the Dolphin House. The concierge service, rental car delivery and grocery shopping service was very much appreciated. Upon arrival we did not have to anything but relax and enjoy which is especially rewarding after a 12 hour travel day. The house and pool were exactly as advertised. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with dishes, utensils and condiments. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Alii Drive with many very good restaurants and shopping. We would recommend Kona Brewing Company, Huggo's and Kona Inn restaurants. There were a few items in the home that require attention. None of them were more than minor inconviences. I have notified the owner of these items and I am confident they will be fixed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family of 9, including a 14 month and 75 year old, just spent a wonderful 10 days at this beautiful property. We had everything you could ask for in the house including binnoculars to watch the whales from the house. The description and photos of the property don't do it justice. It was magnificent with lovely furnishings and more than enough amenities & barware! This house fit our needs so perfectly, with everything on one level for my mom and then a beautiful master suite upstairs.........everyone kept saying how we couldn't have found a more perfect home! We enjoyed being able to cook/bbq in the evenings and spending quality time together. We were able to walk into Kona and do a little shopping etc. The location is perfect. We are now thinking that we need to go back right away~ Thank you to Dominique who ushered me through the entire process and answered my thousands of questions and to Greg, the owner.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our stay at the Dolphin House was fabulous. The vacation began with a lei greeting at the airport, and limousine service to the house - our rental cars awaited at the house. It was a great way to arrive after a day of travel with babies. The house is beautiful and well appointed with everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. The setting overlooking the ocean is breathtaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to have family or friends to the beautiful island of Hawaii.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Greg, Sorry it took so long for me to send you a review. We had a wonderful stay at your fabulous home! I couldnt have asked for anything more. My daughters hired a photographer to come and do family photos on the beach . They turned out amazing! We will all have wonderful family memories of our trip. This was a perfect spot for our family of 8 adults and 2 kids. The website info is very thorough and everything was even better than anticipated. Greg and Dominique were wonderful to work with and readily available. The location was fantastic and the concierge service made everything so simple from the airport. The pool kept the kids happy 24/7 and the guys made regular snorkel runs right in front of the house. It was a wonderful family trip and we hope to make it a tradition.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Thanks Dominique. We had a wonderful time. The Dolphin House was perfect in every way: design, landscaping, furnishings, supplies. Everything was laid out perfectly and was right where you would expect it. And the location was amazing with beautiful views and an easy walk to town and lots of stores and restaurants. Dominique, I am very sorry for taking so long to get back to you, but I was away on overseas travel (London, Hong Kong, Qingdao) as soon as I got back from Hawaii, and I just returned home. We had an absolutely marvelous time in Hawaii. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I've had in many years. We've all been to Hawaii many times, but we all agreed that this was the best place we've ever stayed. It was a fabulous house, and amazingly convenient to everything. One of us (Susi K) has a brother who lives near South Point, so we visited him a couple of times. We also snorkeled, visited the seahorse farm, drove to the wet side, visited Waimea for some horseback riding, visited Atsuka Orchid Gardens to buy some plants, and spent an awful lot of time relaxing around the pool with fruity tropical drinks!! Sorry, but we didn't take any pictures (as noted, we've all been to Hawaii many times). We'd each be very happy to rent from you in the future. The house was everything you promised - and more. We rented the house with my sister-in-law and her family. Four adults and 5 children. The listing was accurate and even more beautiful in person. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was lovely, and very well maintained. The kitchen was well appointed. We did a lot of grilling on the back lanai. The pool was perfect, we spend hours playing in it. We loved hiking around the tide pools behind the house and fishing in the ocean. The giant glass doors open the living room to a wonderful cross-draft, and we had zero problems with bugs. The renting process was professional and hassle free. They even arranged airport pickup for us with rental cars dropped off at the house. The owner made himself available by phone and was able to help us with several minor issues. The local maintenance people were responsive and very nice as well.
