Don't let the higher price real estate management companies in Sunriver convince you its better to go through them than use our VRBO property or tell you their homes are a better VALUE for the PRICE. VRBO is big competition and they know it - thus the web pages exclusively designed to tell you why they are 'better' and the advertisement of their own properties on this website.
They'd like you to believe that if you get locked out or the toilet backs up you won't have support. With this property you will be given a contact number of the owner as well as the management company in Sunriver should any problems arise. Our management company is top drawer and has many years of experience in Sunriver and the connections to address any problem that would arise.
They'd also have you believe that by renting through them, you'll get free access to pools and tennis courts - which is true in most cases. However, the same goes for us. All you have to do is request them and they'll be mailed to you.
They do have 'qualified reservationists' as stated. However, you don't need to speak with a 'qualified reservationists' to compare homes because you've already been able to do that yourself by prescreening them at your leisure on VRBO - and who knows better than you what works for your family!
The one thing they do offer that we don't is retailer discounts. So, you do the math.....$30-$50 or more a night savings or retailer discounts? This property has it all - GREAT PRICE and GREAT VALUE. This budget friendly home won't disappoint!

I stayed here in mid June mainly to golf. The house was neat, clean and inviting….nice flat screen in the front room and master with very comfortable beds. It is just about a 3 minute drive to the Woodlands course and about 5 minutes to the Main course. The golf courses here are lush and from time to time the “neighbors” (deer) will join you on the course or meander into the backyard and drop by for a bite to eat. Great little vaca and very relaxing! I’d come back in a heart beat!

Wonderful experienceGuest comment entered by owner
Wow, what a great little place! It was perfect for our family. The place is spotless and the master bedroom is huge! It was extremely comfortable for my husband and I with that great flat screen and spa like master bathroom. The other two bedrooms are very well appointed and the kitchen was well stocked. The backyard was so peaceful and serene. It’s very private with a wonderful view of the forest. The kids had a great time on the bikes. We BBQ’d and loved the fact that the Country Store was just down the road. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Relaxing RetreatGuest comment entered by owner
Laura, I can’t tell you how peaceful and relaxing our stay was in your home. We were really in need of a low key get-away and we definitely felt right at home here. The views out all of the windows are very picturesque and you can tell that there is definitely pride of ownership. Every effort has been made on your part to make this house inviting. There is so much to do here – hiking, biking, kayaking, and horseback riding- it was hard to fit it all in!! Thanks again for everything. A pleasure from beginning to end! We’ll be back!

WONDERFUL STAY FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY SHARC A HITGuest comment entered by owner
WONDERFUL STAY FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY SHARC A HIT
Hi Laura Sorry we didnt get a chance to fill out the satisfaction survey. Our stay was wonderful. The house was great. We loved the backyard being so open and our daughters enjoyed the train going by every once in a while. We appreciated having the bikes. We rented a tag a long for one of our daugthers and had a great time riding around the community. The SHARC center was amazing. We all enjoyed the pools quite a bit. One of our daughters is 2 and a half so having the shallow pool where she could swim was very nice. Our older daughter loved the deeper pool with the net bridge thing and my husband enjoyed the slide.

Great place for a family vacation!!!
Great place for a family vacation!!!
My family and I stayed here while we had an event in Bend, Oregon. The home feels like you're far from any kind of city although you're just outside of town. There are several things to do including playing cards, relaxing, or checking out nature. My family and I will definitely stay here next time we visit Bend.

Great Home!Guest comment entered by owner
We feel very welcome here. Love the bikes, BBQ and patio. Great pizza at Blondies. Went to Deschutes Brewery for a free tour and tastings. The boys loved the fishing and canoe ride. Frequent vistis from the deer too. As we said before, we'll be back again. Thanks so much! PS and we loved stargazing!

Privacy and Convenience
Privacy and Convenience
This house is updated, comfortable and in a convenient spot close to the grocery store, golf and other amenities. It is a little less than 5 minutes from the Woodlands Golf Course, the North Pool and the new Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic Recreational Center (SCHARC) which is the new state of the art Aquatic park and recreation center. My family and I enjoyed staying here for a number of reasons. The house is on a cul-de-sac, close to bike paths and the backyard is private with a view of the national forest (no bike trails or busy streets infringing on your privacy). There is a nice big Master Suite with a comfortable bed as well as additional bedrooms for the kids and another couple. It has a nicely stocked kitchen, entertainment center and plenty of books to read if you wish to curl up by the fireplace. We had a wonderful time BBQing, biking and hiking. There are so many amenities to choose from in Sunriver including horseback riding, canoeing, golfing and swimming. We just couldn’t get to them all!! This is a family owned vacation rental NOT a real estate company posing as an “owner” (VERY common in Sunriver) and is reflected in the reasonable price. The owner is organized, helpful and has a reservation process which is easy and quick. In addition to general information and directions sent prior to our stay, we were given the phone number of a professional to assist us should we have any problems. Overall, a wonderful experience and a great stay!

No problem recommending this great retreat!
No problem recommending this great retreat!
This is a special home. We've stayed here twice and have loved both visits and we'll be back! It is very clean and well furnished/supplied. The beds are very comfortable. We loved the bikes and the bike/walking paths. A grocery store/gas station and the pool and North golf course are just a few minutes' drive away. The back patio is very private and serene, you'll see deer as you sit on the back patio. Golf, swimming, hiking, biking, river rafting and even the High Desert Museum are all very close! Check out Bend and the Deschute's Brewery Tour and their separate pub/restaurant! The location is very private/quiet. Don't let the train tracks worry you; we found the train a novelty and fun, and it passes through quickly. We get the impression the owners really want you to feel this is a home away from home!

Not just another rentalGuest comment entered by owner
Not just another rental
I'm a big fan of VRBO and an avid travler. I've stayed in VRBO's from Hilton Head to New York City and as far away as Paris. I love the fact that you can actually LIVE in these places rather than just sleep there. What struck me about your home is that it has the feel of a well taken care of well appointed home rather than a rental someone threw all their extra, old, second hand worn furniture into. Upon entry, it was spotless, warm and inviting. It looks like somebody put a lot of thought into decorating the place and I felt like you cared enough about my comfort to include quality furniture, bedding, towels and kitchen utensils. There is no "second hand" feeling about this place. Bikes, WiFi, and the Flat screen enhance the experience as well as clear instructions as to how to operate the TV/DVD and Wifi in the home - not usually the case in my past experience - wasting time calling the owner re: instructions etc. I also liked the fact that I had the contact number of a professional should I have any problems or need assistance (not usually the case in owner managed units) All in all, great experience, great view of the national forest and privacy in the backyard and located on a kid friendly culdesac. With out a doubt, I'd come back.
