We rented to attend our son's wedding. The house was clean, well stocked, conveniently located and comfortable for our family of 9. We hosted an open house for about 40 in the spacious house and yard and relaxed in the hot tub at night. Quiet neighborhood, close to shopping. We would recommend this house to others and will keep the information future use. ( family reunion or booking for adult hockey team tournament next time we go to Calgary) much more comfortable than a hotel!! A heads up, bathrooms have a few steps leading up or down. No problem for most but we have some relatives with mobility issues.

We can see you are very neat and clean in your own home and treated ours as if it were your own. It was hard to believe that there was 12 people sleeping in the house, as it was left in great condition. We would give you a discount to rebook our home again. I would like to address the bathrooms. We do mention that this home is not the best for people for mobility problems, but to help those with some disabilities, we did put grab bars in the main bathroom upstairs. We do not recommend that future guest host the home for 40 people, but you did a wonderful job of making sure that the home was in the shape you found it in. Thanks again.

This home was very clean and well maintained. A very quiet area away from all main roads but very quick to get anywhere in the city, Just a few blocks to main freeways. everything you need is only a few blocks away such as grociery store and drug store and liquior store. I found the owners to be verry friendly and helpful. I would stay at this property again.

This house had everything we could have wanted! We were a group of 6 adults and we had all the space we needed and more. Having TV's in some of the bedrooms also gave us the privacy we needed when we wanted to get away from it all. We loved the hot tub! This was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stay in and we've stay in quite a few all around the world. It is close to all shopping centres, supermarkets and the beautiful park and river, walking tracks, etc. The proximity to everything was really handy. Also, loved the fact that the house had a gorgeous garden and it really felt like a home away from home. One of the best houses we've ever stayed in! I could go on forever but best you go and stay here yourself. Thanks Kathy & Doug.....We'll be back!!!

Great Retreat with the kids

Our boys really enjoyed the pool table and the wii with games. It was such a treat for them after a 28 hour drive! It is nice they think of kids of all ages as they also have toys and games for younger and older kids. There is lots of space in this house, and places to sleep. We enjoyed having a master bedroom with a half bath also. The owners are always available to answer any questions, and are very friendly.

We also like to supply our guests with the must do's in Calgary coupons, and brochures for things to do close to and in Calgary and menus for the restaurants close by for those days you would like takeout or just to have a meal out. Costco. Walmart and Superstore is a 5 minute drive to stock up on essentials for the large no. in families that book. Safeway, Sobey's, and Co-op are a 3 minute drive who like to add to their airmiles and points. Please come back now you ..... you hear!! We offer a discount to all of our guests who rebook with us. Kathy and Doug were very pleasant to do business with! The house was very clean, the rooms were all roomy and comfortable, lots of places to sit down and hang out, very well maintained property. The kitchen were equipped with basic tools for cooking and provided us with necessary things we often forget during travel. The description of this place was very accurate and exceeded my expectations! Close to grocery stores and few minutes drive to big shopping area. I highly recommend this place! I will book again if we end up in Calgary in the future! My friends and I were glad to have stayed here. Definitely a re-book!! Thanks Kathy and Doug!!

Great vacation home

Spent a wonderful week with my friends at this property, we could not be more impressed, the house was extremely clean, fully stocked and everything you could possibly need. (we were a group of 11) The house has a great location mAking trips to the bars and downtown so easy and inexpensive. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub immensely. We awoke to snow one day but no fear as the owner of the house was there within an hour shovelling the sidewalk and driveway ( how's that for looking after your guests!!) We would not look elsewhere ever again!! Many hearfekt thanks go to Kathy and Doug

Large group in Calgary for Family Reunion - Nov 2010

The home was just perfect. It accommodated all our children and their husbands as well as all our grandchildren. It is handy to the airport which was great. Everyone was arriving and leaving on different time schedules. It is close to shopping just minutes away. The things that impressed us the most were the cleanliness of the home and how well stocked the kitchen was for dishes etc. It was just like being in our own home. What more can you ask for. It was a great holiday. One which none of our family will forget and being in the house was a large part of the memories. We will not hesitate to rent again from Kathy and Doug.

Our Fire Dept Rescue Team stayed at the house for 8 days. The house was amazing. The location was great. You have acess to all the major roads to get you around the city. The transit system is steps away and if you don't have a vehicle to get around Calgary is set up to get you around. The four large bedrooms and 2 futons make this a great house for a large group. The hot tub is fantastic. The house was truly a home away from home. I would highly reconmend you stay here when you are in Calgary. Thanks Doug and Kathy John.H

This beautiful home accomodated 8 people - 4 adults & 4 kids ages 2 - 9!! It was spacious, private, well organized and EVERYONE was happy!! The children thought the house WAS the holiday - WII, parks nearby, beautiful walking paths along the river and a hottub after such a strenuous day!! Kathy and Doug were excellent hosts!! They were very responsive to our needs, suggested coupons for different activities (greatly appreciated when dealing with 8 entry fees!!), reminded us about the cooler and how to tour the zoo easily and were very unobtrusive. We were so grateful for the back yard, the bbq and how close the house is to all amenities. (Almost had our fill of wonderful Alberta beef.) We have definitely found THE place to stay when we come back, which our kids already told us we have to do. Best vacation yet and the house was a definite factor in our enjoyment, We have already recommended this house and will continue to do so!!! Hope to be back next year!!

We came for the Stampede and stayed Friday, Sat. and Sunday and were very much on the go. The house suited our needs for our family. Beds were comfortable,and the house was clean. The kids enjoyed the Wii - the adults enjoyed the hot tub and BBQ. Doug helped direct us around the town and Kathy found us coupons to use!

Our Soccer team was travelling to Calgary for a tournament and we just so happened to find your ad on VRBO. We were lucky to find a place that housed our whole team and with a very convenient location to our tournament. Our team really enjoyed the hot tub, ecspecially after playing our soccer games. It felt like our home away from home with all the amenities we wanted. Thank-you Kathy and Doug for making our stay very comfortable and relaxing, ecspecially staying up late to greet us with a smile upon our very late arrival. We will be renting again next year.
